Kirkwood and Ben Watson not spotted at today’s practice (1 Viewer)

Kirkwood's had a decent 1/2 year for a guy who was never supposed to come off the practice squad, but if we have play Carr at WR4, so be it. Lewis scares me with his penchant for fumbling and Arnold seems like he's firmly in Payton's doghouse (Garrett Griffin was active over him vs. PHI).

Carr doesn’t have the size, speed, or strength that Kirky has... If he plays and Kirky can’t, that’s a downgrade at that spot.

And for the record... I’m not trying to compel or sway anyone to call him Kirky. That’s my thing. It’s a nickname in-line w/ a lot of hockey player nicknames where you just add a “y” or “er” onto the name and roll with it... ex. “Kaner” for Patrick Kane.

This is not hockey, this is football. Stop with the crap.

I dread having Carr out there, scared of having TLL out there, and I don't think anybody on the offense trusts Arnold right now for some reason.

My eyes say Arnold is the better of the 3, but since he's never active over Carr or TLL -- if Kirkwood is hurt I think we're gonna be seeing Carr.

Either way, Kirkwood being absent from practice was my biggest worry today.

Tre'Quan Smith will probably see more looks and get more snaps.

Thanks for the insight. Not that it makes "Kirky" any less quirky douchilicious. But it's your drunk-falcon funeral, so...

I love Ginn, but Kirkwood, in my opinion, has been clutch as of late. Drew and Payton both really seem to trust him as well.

Was Kirkwood clutch when he dropped that 3rd down convertion vs the Steelers? no that was Ginn who came back and converted that 4th down and had a 5 catch 70yrd game (basically Kirkwoods season total in one game)

Kirkwood gives you a target but he is no more than a 2 catch 15-20yrd performer where as Ginn is a 4-5 catch 70yrd guy who solidifies the offense by playing the Devery Henderson role on offense.
