Humor Klint Kubiak’s debut as Saints OC

That's my fault Sir, I was writing moreso from the perspective of fanbases than anything. Although I do standby my point that Offensive coaches are in demand, you definitely had some contrarian examples. 7 of 32 though (We can call it 9 if you want to allow for Tomlin and DA) is not exactly a big endorsement of your point. It's not a secret the league as whole has the rules set for more offense and so teams tend to choose offensive coaches to run their ball clubs. Which brings me to my overall point. If the Saints play like they did today more often than not, multiple teams will be firing their coach and offering Kubiak a Head Coaching role. It's the nature of the NFL now.
7 teams just hired Defensive minded guys in less than 24 months. If that’s not a ringing endorsement on my point, then idk what is🤣. The game is not all offense. Sure these offensive guys are in high demand, but they are also getting canned at a rapid rate as well.

What I loved about it, is that you saw the reward of the plan with the Williams TD. Grind, grind, take a few shots, grind, grind, then boom, toss dive breaks for a TD.

That’s what we’ve been missing for a while.

I hope it keeps up.
Couldn’t not of been a better opening game. It was like a practice to get the team ready for Dallas.

Sucks he be gone as a HC if we continue to have success. Ask yourself would u rather secure DA schematics or a successful OC? Dan Quinn or Shanahan?? A little early for that comparison but hey.
I don't think KK even accepts a HC job this year, if/when he's offered. I'd put him in the same boat as Detroit's OC (Ben Johnson) which refused a HC job. I'd think that KK knows that he has something special w/ DC4 and this veteran team and that his oline and QB coaches deserve the bulk of the credit for his success. I think he'd realize that and also realize that he's just not ready to be a full time HC. (yet)

Canales and the Panthers were not prepared. He called plays for one year and then HC. Owners will take note of that.
The QB will kill him just like he did Frank Reich. BY has to complete those passes that he missed on or no coach will succeed. BY's first pass was an overthrow interception. 13/30 and 2 INTS is not acceptable. However, if BY can quickly grow up and start completing those passes, he can be a great QB because he has all of the other traits to succeed in todays NFL. (intelligence, mobility, calm demanor etc)

Just seeing Taysom finally be on the field all the time as a starter instead of a gadget player who plays 50% or less of the snaps makes you wonder what could have been for his career if this had been the case all along.
Interesting enough, Hill only played 21 offensive snaps out of 66. I definitely thought it was higher from watching the game.

Dear God please let this be true

That's because he left the field hurt at one point and they even brought him back to the locker room, so with the outlandish score, it's obvious why they didn't want to risk anything playing him after that.

Kubiak's essentially shut down the offense for an entire game's worth of football. Second half against Carolina and again the second half against Dallas. That means the Eagles really don't have anything new to study on film to prepare defensively.
