Very true. I do agree. He did have some really boneheaded interceptions this year that were on him, but he also had an OL that was very inconsistent. He is still a serviceable QB. Of course no where near elite, but you can make the playoffs with him. They will never win a title or even contend for a title with him though.

He will probably end up where ever DA lands his next DC position (Indianapolis maybe).

I could easily see DA getting the DC job with the Lions if Glenn gets a HC job. It's really a perfect fit since Glenn was running the same basic scheme as DA. Plus, for all his faults, DA is a great DB coach and that is where the Lions D needs the most work.

And Campbell and DA have worked together before. Although I don't know what their relationship was like when they were both here.

Same here. I don't like this idea of potentially forcing our offensive staff on a new HC. I know Loomis said he wouldn't do that. But I don't believe anything Loomis says anymore.

That's what I'm thinking. But if he gets an offer and the Lions go deep in the playoffs, he may not be willing to wait.

I question the judgement of anyone who thought a 34-year-old Taysom Hill should get such a heavy amount of touches and expect him not to get injured.

I get that, but you also can't have a guy on your team making around $10 million per year that isn't getting a large number of touches.

Even when the offense was completely healthy ( except for Miller) we were not extremely talented. Just how many of you were so concerned with the OL? Almost all of you. Olave on most contending teams would be a #2 and Shaheed a #3 or 4. . JJ and Foster @ TE?? Average. AK?? a lot of people on here said he was done. Yeah we had Taysom but he still was not used correctly.

What does KK and the offensive staff do? They for the 1st 2 games when the O was almost fully healthy put up 40+ points a game. The OL opened up big holes for AK and Taysom. They turn a guy like Penning a player you all wanted cut into a viable RT. And it only goes south when almost the ENTIRE offense gets hurt.

Mark my words, KK will go to Sea. and take most of our offensive staff including 2 of the best OL coaches in the game and make that offense what we could have been and you'll all be wishing we had them back

Unless I missed something, the Saints still have all of their coaches under contract. Only DA was released. If I were the Saints I'd let coaches interview for lateral moves, but I wouldn't release them from their contracts until I find out if the new head coach wants to keep any of the coaches still under contract.

As far as I know, the Saints have only given Kubiak permission to interview for a lateral move, that doesn't mean they will necessarily release him from his contract.
