Myers was a “head hunter,” when it was still a normal part of the game.Tommy Myers was one of the few bright spots back in the early years of the franchise. He knew how to intercept passes and hit hard. We could use a guy like that today.
Alex Molden??
Good point. Chris McAlister from the early 2000's Ravens was the same way. Some of the best shutdown corners in the league don't get INTs at all.
I remember Nnamdi Asomugha on the Raiders, the opposing QB would rarely throw his way since he had everyone blanketed. He was one of the best corners in the game but only had like 3 INT's in a season. They literally only threw his way like 3-4 times per game.
You know itLattimore was always picked up for a potential postseason run and beyond. He would have had a physical when then trade was completed and the Commanders had to know the condition of his hammy.
Unfortunately, as has been mentioned, he’ll probably be nice and healthy for the game against us.
