N/S Lattimore traded at the right time? (ruled Out for 4 consecutive weeks since trade) [Lattimore will make Commanders debut against the Saints] (1 Viewer)

$31.6M dead cap hit in 2025 (Spotrac) and then he's off the Saints' books. That's the long term benefit for the Saints in moving him... a step toward salary cap health. And the draft picks they got are an asset gain.

I like Latt and I'm liking the Jayden Daniels show. I hope he's healthy and makes big plays in the playoffs.

Win-win trade.

I think Washington is playing it safe and thinking bigger picture but I'd be annoyed/mad if I was fan of them thinking wtf we trade for him for??

I want him to come back vs the Saints. Looking forward to Lattimore vs MVS

We fans trip sometimes. Lattimore not playing for them isn't the reason they are losing, because he wasn't the reason they were winning. You can't miss what you never had. Patience is virtue.

He's now projected to play his first game in a Commanders uniform 2 weeks from now against the Saints. It would be 7 weeks since he last played in a game this season.

That doesn't mean he will. 2 weeks is plenty of time for him to reinjure his hammy in practice or warmups.

Not wishing but being realistic.

I'd be glad to see him play against the Saints. It would be another draw other than JD5 returning to Louisiana to play in a game for the1st time since winning the Heisman.

Let’s not get to far ahead.

i’m happy he’s playing as i don’t want to win any more games lol

plus u think washington cared that he missed 4 games. they traded a 3rd rounder for a top 5 corner in football.
