Howard the Duck would like a word.
But yeah, Blade was awesome.

Loki Head Writer Clears Up Multiverse Confusion
Waldron tries to clear up some confusion.screenrant.com
what is the story with this show? I heard episode 7 should be coming out and episode 6 was a midseason break, or am i wrong?
Not sure, but Wikipedia page seems to indicate Season 1 is over and there will be a season 2, but not sure when it will be released.what is the story with this show? I heard episode 7 should be coming out and episode 6 was a midseason break, or am i wrong?
An appearance by Peter Porker would establish that.Except in *no* timeline does he pick up a living telephone made of bison flesh and say "Squid McSquiddy, here...Squidgod's blessing upon thee."
Because that's not an example of a *timeline*, that's an alternate *universe*.
If they're going to go all multiversal/timeline/dimensions in Phase 4, they really need to all get on the same page about it. (And that page has to make some kind of sense.)

There was an alligator Loki, soooo....The latest What If touches on it without coming out and saying it.
In our universe, the fixed point would appear to be Strange losing the use of his hands. In the show, Alternate Universe Strange tries timeline after timeline to avoid his fixed point only to discover that messing with one can destroy your whole universe.
As for Loki/Kang, they need to set some rules about it. Are we looking at timeline Kangs, with an infinitude of decisions that all lead to a Kang who's more or less the same (a human descendant of Reed Richards and/or Victor VonDoom) except for variations in personality resulting from choices of his own along with those of people close to him.
OR
Are we working with alternate universe Kangs. An essential-oil Kang, a gumdrop Kang, an amorphous blasphemy Kang, a Kangaroo Kang, a silicon-based Kang, a Vulcan Kang, etc. etc. each the denizen of a whole universe with its own laws of physics, its own infinity of timelines, its own whole-damn-shebang.

My impression by the end was that it was kind of both. The sacred timeline was really multiple timelines, but tightly constrained with the defining characteristic being that while they could diverge, they had to ultimately converge on He Who Remains, as enforced by the TVA. So variants could exist as long as their existence wouldn't, somehow, ultimately result in a different He Who Remains existing. E.g. alligator Lokis that eat the right neighbour's cat are OK.As for Loki/Kang, they need to set some rules about it. Whatever the writers want it to be...Right. Hence my request that they figure out some coherent explanation of what a multiverse, a timeline and a dimension are. My head-canon is that GatorLoki started out normal, then got himself stuck in a spell like Throg.
