London trip (1 Viewer)

Most Brit fans are heading to the Green man in Wembley (off Dagmar Avenue). Also a great place for pre game hydration before the game on Sunday. http://www.colchestergladiators.org.uk/index.php?pageId=71

I've noticed that one and it is an option, especially since we're staying less than 10 minutes walk away, but to be quiet honest, I'd rather attend a party with other Saints fans. (snail racing is not really my thing)

We are going to the O2 either Friday or Saturday regardless of what else happens !

Anyone know where the team is staying ? It would be great if we could welcome them to London - it is afterall a "home" game

Check the forum on NFLUK.com. I think they have stated at which FC the team will be practicing. I am not sure where the team is staying though.

Somebody posted the Chargers info but I haven't seen anything on the Saints yet

If the LSU game gets a daytime (CBS) start then I think we can manage to watch it - last resort will be my laptop and a sligbox at a local bar.

If it's a night game that will be tough. It won't start until 1 or 2 am and only clubs will probably be open that late. That puts us watching it in a hotel lobby or something until like 4am. That makes for a rough Saints gameday.

Fair enough ... although i think you'll struggle to find a bigger football party, The Green man is legendary but good luck

The way my flights worked out, I can only come early on the day of the game and leave the next afternoon, although I'll try and pack as much in as I can.

I'm staying in Kensington, got a pretty good deal there.

I'm staying at Marble Arch...anyone have any suggestions for that area?

I heard that British Saint (the one with the pre game party tix) is going to set something up for Saturday afternoon in Central London

Got my tickets yesterday (They have a nice picture of Drew on the front) but also got the Tailgate tickets in the same envelope !! When I applied I was told they had all gone so it was a nice suprise !! 14 dats and counting !:9:

They seem to have changed their mind about the way they distributed the tailgating tickets - People who applied within an hour after receiving the mail, have gotten no tailgating tickets, others have gotten fewer tailgating tickets than gametickets (how do you tell 1 or 2 people in your party that sorry we can go, but you can't ) and others like you have gotten tickets even though you applied so late that you were told they were all gone !!

There seem to be a serious case of %&/¤¤ at NFLUK/ticketmaster

Well you'll be across the road from Hyde Park then.

Your very central in a very expensive part of the city, Buckingham Palace is only about 5 minutes walk from Marble Arch, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye no more than a 15 minute walk.

Picadilly Circus, Covent Garden and Leicester Square are all next to each other and again about a 10 minute walk. These are the main tourist areas in the city.

Notting Hill is a short stroll to your West and a little shop called Harrods a similar distance to the South.

Your in a superb tourist area imo.

I am getting excited. We are leaving Saturday and I just found ou my hotel/apt in London didnt go through properly when I booked it back in apr. Now I have another hotel/apt. on order. I sure hope my tickets from tickemater uk will be at the will call with my tailgate tickets. I hate to have spent all this money and time and not have it go properly Especially since this is my sister's first trip abroad. Also , the SAINTS finally one today. Thank Godness!!

We are heading out the Tuesday before the game. We rented a house right near Camden Lock. Any suggestions for that area?

Leaving Tuesday as well - Staying in Wembley right next to the tube station
