Mahomes is a sore loser!!! (1 Viewer)

Mahomes thinks the refs shouldn't make a call like that at a critical moment of a big game, but one of those tick-tacky calls won them the SB last year. So maybe he should reconsider his viewpoint.

Shhhh..... You're not supposed to talk about stuff like that.

That's Patrick Mahomes there,

that's Taylor Swift's boyfriend's teammate.

It used to be rarely called. 2 times last season to be exact. The ref usually warns the reciever/te. This season they've called it a lot more (11 times). But, still a rare call. Mahomes should not have flipped out.
Infractions should be called, regardless, and not sometimes. On those type situations, if a warning is given sometimes, then it should be given all of the time. the inconsistency of calls, are what gets players angry, and the calls mostly come at inopportune times. I do believe that in the Dallas? Philly game, 3 or more flags were picked up, that should have penalized Dallas, but every call stood against Philly.

To be fair, I think that the Bills had a NZI against them , not that long before that one. I don't see why Toney had to cheat that far up at all, if the play was not designed with him as the primary.

You know the more I think on this situation, the more is irks me. The NFL has a clear officiating problem, with legalized gambling seemingly the primary culprit. You finally have a star player speak out about it (God forbid anyone bites the hand that feeds them), and it happens when the officials clearly got the call right. CLEARLY.

So we finally have someone with the balls to speak out and they are wrong. Really? Why now Patrick? Why couldn't you complain any of the other hundred times your team got screwed? This outburst has single handedly given John Q. Public the chance to come to the officials rescue and paint the players, fans, etc. as no accountability having whiners.

If the NFL wanted to redirect the growing skepticism of the integrity of NFL officiating, they couldn't have written a better script. Have the most popular (thus polarizing) player in the league whine about an obvious correct call and draw attention to fan/team bias. Never mind the actual point shaving, line manipulation, and future TV rating exploiting happening every week.

Enjoy the show peasants.

Hypocrisy: why can’t the same penalty be called for both teams? The ref system is screwed and rigged. Saints fans should be well aware of this

This is so rich. The thing is Patrick Mahomes CONSTANTLY whines to the refs for calls, especially roughing. Almost every time he's hit, he's looking to the refs for an additional 15 yards. Him complaining about a LEGITIMATE and blatant call is sooooo rich to me. And Andy Reid saying we usually get a warning before something like that is called, again is rich. WHERE IS THE PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY?! The call was legit and it was obvious. This wasn't even a ticky-tack or subjective thing. He was almost completely over the line, like this is something you learn in pop warner not to do.

If this call happened in the 1st-3rd quarters, nobody cares. The flag was thrown IMMEDIATELY from what I can tell. They are just mad because they lost the game. The call was right and no where NEAR as egregious as the NFCCG No call. Not even close.

To be clear, they DID get jobbed the week before with the non-call on what was CLEARLY DPI but this week it was legit and to somehow tie the two together is not kosher. He's saying he didn't mention last week because he doesn't mind the refs letting them play (while whining for flags all of the time, mind you), then saying we are talking about the refs two weeks in a row. Well, which is it? Do you want the refs to let you play or to call fouls. If the refs did right last week, WHY ARE YOU BRINGING IT UP? It's like your girlfriend saying, "I told you I wasn't gonna say anything when you get on my nerves. See? I am not saying anything about it now!" Lulz

He is a sore loser.

The photo of von miller is misleading. The ball was snapped and the angle isn’t down the line. They have been calling offensive offsides all year. This is clearly offsides and not by inches but feet. Receivers can’t be lined up with the center.

The picture is bad, but he was lined up in the neutral zone. I watched this game live and was screaming at the TV when it happened.

Coincidence that betting is now legal and NFL refs are only part-time? I think not.

Usually I dislike the NFL refs but here I love the ref response....
No warning is required especially if they are lined up so far offsides where they’re actually blocking our view of the ball. We would give them some sort of a warning if it was anywhere close, but this particular one is beyond a warning.

I thought I saw the DE jump early. Really need a pic of the ball still being on the ground tho. This doesn’t prove anything since the ball has been snapped.
