Walterfootball had him ranked higher than Mathieu, younger, and actually wants to live here which according to Underhill was a hold up point with Mathieu. Glad Loomis is still Loomising while we wait on Watson.

I could see why Mathieu would be opposed to living here. It would be easy to get caught up in his old crowd. That was one of the reasons Arizona was best place for him when he came out. Had he got drafted by the Saints he likely would have continued with the BS that got his stock lowered in the 1st place.

He isn't better in coverage. He's a really good replacement though.

He's not going to have the Range Williams did, he's a tick below him athleticism and certainly age at 29 but he makes up for it with tenacity and a little more flexibility in coverage.

After Jamal Adams left he went from being primarily a centerfielder to a more swiss army knife and he had a 80 grade in coverage from the slot.

So he's a bit more versatile than Williams but won't be the guy williams was as a Single high player. You can rotate him into the box and he can thump from there so perhaps he fits our scheme in that he can be used in disguise looks. Very rarely was Williams the safety who rotated down.
