Mariota is going to tear up this supposed dominat defense

quick 5 yard slants screens and crossess all game

3/5 new staters in the secondary? What can go wrong?

will have a massive amount of miscommunication on ATL pick plays. Who takes who? secondary standing still lokking at each other

Saints defensive front wont effect this game because Mariota will have the ball out quick or run designed RPOs

Jameis Winston 31- ATL 24
If this is a concern for the Saints, what should we expect out of Atlanta?

I keep hearing the Saints struggle against mobile quarterbacks, but short of Hurts, who has beaten the Saints/given them continuous trouble? It's not mobile quarterbacks. The Saints just can't beat the Eagles, in the same way the Bucs can't beat the Saints.

Cam? Beat. Kyler? Beat. Watson? Beat. Wilson? Beat. Dak? Beat. Herbert (if you want to consider him mobile, that is.)? Beat. The only reason this team lost to Tua was because of covid, if even half of the roster was there, the Saints win that game handedly. Don't think we've played Lamar, either. I'm probably missing someone, but who else besides Hurts has given this current iteration of the Saints real trouble? And no, not Mariota from nearly seven years ago who did it against one of the worst defenses in league history. It's seriously overblown at this point.
We have lost to Dallas before with dak
Wilson has beat us before
Watson has beat us before
And I’m a homer just a realist too
That dynamic can give us fits at time
Hell didnt kapernick beat us too ?

Its not just about our Defense being elite, its about us being a serious contender...the Bills came out and bent the defending SB champs over on their home turf. If we cant come out and dominate a team that is probably going to be bottom 3 in the entire league, that says a lot about where we are in terms of contending for a title...This should be the equivalent of a CFB tune up game against a FCS school, about as close to one as you're going to get in the NFL...anything other than total domination will be a disappointment. I don't want to win 24-17 against Monmoth...I want to hang 50 in the first half.
The bills brought mainly everyone back are young for the most part and added von miller we have 2 new safeties a injured cb and one known commodity at lb

Kyle pitts is good and drake London may be as well and we have a new secondary, this game will be dependent on the fronts ability to get pressure early and often Marcus davenport needs 2 ball hard . Atlanta has spent 1st round picks on they online and have been injured but doesn’t mean they haven’t improved and aren’t ready to prove they belong never underestimate an opponent

How in the world did you resist referring to yourself in the third person?

For all those who got on me for starting this thread, I hope you see now what I was talking about. Allen hasn’t had a great plan to stop mobile QBs since he’s been there. The threat of Mariota caused our defense to be on our heels the whole game opening up those lanes for Patterson. I expect the defense to look a lot better against immobile Tom Brady.
