This guy was a BRILLIANT actor. So versatile and always believable. I still remember his one-off appearance on SVU at least 15 years ago.

While I loved Boardwalk Empire, the one season of Lovecraft Country was a game changer, especially w/ regards to the Tulsa Massacre (the Watchman HBO series addresses it as well)....

Williams' death was reported in my hometown's newspaper. Very good character actor.

He also played a teacher in Season 3 of Community and was in the series' best episode (the Law and Order episode)

This one really took me by surprise

He also brought the Snoop character to the wire, he brought her Felicia Pearson to the set after meeting her in a bar

she essentially played herself her nickname “Snoop” was her real nickname given to her by guy who looked out for her and helped her when she was in jail
