Yep. He has. Been past him. He's at a micro level but gets macro level attention it seems which deflects away from the root cause.

To everyone throwing shade at Mike for this, just keep in mind that Michael Thomas is someone who matters to this franchise. The people he’s commenting on do not. It’s easy to always assume keeping it in house is the best way but these players are in a precarious situation. This team has a GM who isn’t willing to make the changes necessary to win and isn’t listening to what’s in front of him. Players frustrated, abysmal record, dome full of visiting fans, boos for the offense. I appreciate Mike being the voice of the fans because right now it feels like us, the fans and the players, versus them, the coaches and mgmt.

Ultimately this is what happens when you have no accountability. When your GM has no one to answer to including the fans. Players will rightfully go rogue.

What? Mike threw Jameis under the bus last year. One week, MT is a team leader, next week, he's a thorn in someone's side. This is what happens when your coach is not a leader.

While I appreciate what MT brings to the team via hard work, determination, etc...this is not the first time he has turned his back on the starting QB. My adivce to MT would be to leave the hate to the fans, stay clean and have your issues heard within the walls of the Saints facility. These twitter comments are not helping the team and it is not the injured WR's job to influence the team leaders or the public with coaching and personnel decisions.

I've seen some screen shots of some of his tweets and from what I can tell he is really really bad at tweeting. Everything he posts is super cryptic and open to interpretation about what he meant. Even a few minutes timing difference from what was going on on the field and when he tweets can give a false meaning to what he writes. When it comes to football fans of teams that are playing bad, they are always going interpret things in a way that reflects that reality. He's always going to be under a microscope so he should know better but clearly doesn't.

I echo these sentiments. DA insulted the team by trotting Carr out there week after week knowing he wasn’t healthy or at times the best option at QB because he was scared Jameis was gonna run away with the job after he screwed him last year.

He should’ve known that wasn’t going to go over well with a group this used to winning and this competitive.

Jameis has been ten times the teammate Carr has been and has won more games for the Saints. The locker room respects and loves Jameis in a way they never will with Carr because he’s arrogant and untouchable.


They don’t wanna play for that guy , the fans don’t want that guy in the building , and we don’t want the coach who keeps shoving him down our throats overlooking every thing he does.

It sounds like you hate the team and the coaches, how about find a new team? It seems much easier

Yeah, don't care what MT13 thinks or says anymore... It's been nearly 3 years since he's done anything special on a football field to warrant an actual opinion on this stuff, and it's pretty clear that he's very petty, childish, and purposefully cryptic for attention purposes on these matters. Thanks for the memories Mike... We wish you well in the future but... At this point I am paying attention to what guys like AK and DD have to say / write... and not much else.
