It was pretty slimy what Mike was doing on Twitter anyway. We all know he was using it as a platform to publicly call out certain players and coaches on the team.

I didn’t say you defended him. I said it was odd people thinking we need to center our team’s future around Carr.

I’ll take MT and his injuries and slant capabilities over a high priced emo guy who is on the back end of a mediocre career and eating a sheet ton of our cap space.

It is all but certain that it will go the opposite of that though. MT is oft injured and over 30 and has 5 games left on his contract. Carr's contract is unmovable and will definitely be reworked which will make it difficult to move off of him in 2025 either. Carr is going to be here for a bit so we better do something to make the offense work with him.

Especially for a veteran/leader.

MT was done with Carr when he blew up on Chris (even tho it wasn’t his fault) I told everyone then players in the locker room stop respecting Carr.

Carr went 17/22 for the game. To me this was his best game. I think Carr is and has been hurt for awhile. DA to scared or prideful to bench DC costs us a couple of games. He should have not resigned JW if he wasn’t going to play him. The team is P'Oed for Jameis and Carr play has made people want Jameis more 150mil ???? Oh the players paying attention and some fans also.

Don’t give me that “he’s hurt” I don’t like that excuse! He plays all season, plays bad then use the hurt card. If you’re on the field, I don’t wanna hear excuses.

As it happened it was totally unnecessary for that play to be called or for Thomas to be on the field. One of those ridiculous things Payton would do from time to time.

It's obviously a call back to Jameis's "it was God's plan" comment to Payton after a lucky Jameis TD in New England 2 years ago.

People are either dumb or wilfully misrepresenting an obvious lighthearted joke that had nothing to do with Carr.

Yep. No matter how anyone feels about Mike and what you want or don't want for him, no one can argue that he's rarely available. Explain it away as you will, there's a reason he's tweeting during games instead of playing.

Yeah, this team is a mess. Got an oft injured Prima Donna tweeting about our other Prima Donna. Enough, I would like to see the whole lot of em gone, Mike, Carr and DA.
