Michael Thomas deletes X account over Carr comments?? (1 Viewer)

If a draft pick beats him out, I suppose that could happen. But there is nobody on this roster or affordable in free agency that is better than him.
I just have this feeling in the pit of my stomach where DA will be kept, and after the draft (when we don't address the quarterback spot) he will say something like "we like what we already have in house."

I fully expect that to happen. I didn't want DA to get the job and I've been wanting to draft a first round QB since Drew tore that ligament in his finger. I knew his time was short and that injuries are hard to come back from at his age. I don't have high hopes for the future of the team right now.

Color me biased because I’m not impressed with a quarter of check downs. You act like he was about to go and be Peyton Manning out there.

If you look beyond the headlines , and watch our guys talk and listen to their interviews it’s clear.

Have you ever seen this Behavior from any of our guys ? Ever ?

There’s constant speculation about who Kamara is talking about who Thomas is talking about. Olave talks about having to be checked by other players he looks up to to keep him from going about situations the wrong way Man … if you don’t wanna see it that’s fine , but don’t color me crazy for telling the truth.

The whole dome let you know 🤷🏾‍♂️
You are biased and have been since before Carr got here

I saw this on another Saints board and wondered when it would make it over here lol.

As Nature Boy has been saying, clean house.

Yeah I noticed he didn't call out Johnson for causing the pick that hit him squarely in the hands. But you know gotta protect his fellow receiver

He was rightfully pointing out how much more open AT Perry was on the other side of the field.

Yeah you REALLY think there was not an underlying message in that tweet? C'mon man

If the tweet occurred, as @AGW85 suggested, after the tipped pass, then what's the problem? Or is there one?

I’m 99% sure MT was talking about Olave catching the tipped pass that would’ve been a pick when he said that about Winston. I don’t think it had anything to do with Carr getting hurt other than that’s why Jameis was in the game.

That's exactly what happened.

Several folks in the GameDay Thread were posting the same sentiment when the tipped pass completion happened.

MT's tweet was even posted in the Game Day thread when he tweeted because that's what everyone was saying in there.

Now MT did post about AT Perry being wide open and something about not seeing with your eyes and that getting people hurt, but this was way before Carr went down. I do think he was calling Carr out for that.

Yea, I saw the post about AT and the vision issues in the game day thread too because many of us were saying the same thing after the replay of the interception was shown. Doesn’t change that Johnson has to make that catch but there’s a safer throw for bigger yardage on the table and for whatever reason Carr didn’t like it. All of that was in the first quarter I’m pretty sure.

I echo these sentiments. DA insulted the team by trotting Carr out there week after week knowing he wasn’t healthy or at times the best option at QB because he was scared Jameis was gonna run away with the job after he screwed him last year.

He should’ve known that wasn’t going to go over well with a group this used to winning and this competitive.

Jameis has been ten times the teammate Carr has been and has won more games for the Saints. The locker room respects and loves Jameis in a way they never will with Carr because he’s arrogant and untouchable.

They don’t wanna play for that guy , the fans don’t want that guy in the building , and we don’t want the coach who keeps shoving him down our throats overlooking every thing he does.
If Carr didn't get smashed to the ground we were going to win! 3 incomplete terrible passes in a row by Jameis lost us the game. Bad coaching is the problem. Not Carr and Jameis is certainly not the answer. RIMO
