See, I'm already well aware of the fact that there's something very, very wrong with me... but I have to confess that I don't really "hate" any other team. Not the Gators, not the Falcons, not the 49ers, not the Nittany Tide, not the Green Wave, none of 'em.

And I'm not even talking about the semantics of "hate" either. I honestly don't wish any specific harm on any of them. And look, I was born and raised in SELA in the 70's and 80's. I was taught to "hate" Tulane and Alabama at the very least. Didn't stick. I rather like Tulane, actually. Root for them any time there's no direct negative effect on LSU.

Alabama? Meh. Aub urn? Meh. Ole Miss? Meh. Florida? Meh. I root against those teams simply because they're in direct competition with LSU. But that's the extent of it. Same with NFC South teams, and NFC teams in general. In that they're competing for the same prize as the Saints are, I wish them failure. But that's about it.

Any "special place in my heart" I hold for any other team these days is mainly based on the anti-LSU obnoxiousness of their SR.com-based fans. :hookem:

For me, it's close between Auburn, Florida, and Bama, but I chose Auburn because of obnoxious friends of the family and my family that are pretty intelligent Bama fans.

Football wise, I really didn't like Spurrier. Sure, a really good QB coach, but not a breeder for the NFL level.

Actually the poll is misleading. Literally interpreted it is "what is the most hated team in the SEC"? I guess that would mean what team would rank as the most hated team if you polled fans of all the teams. Auburn might be Alabama's most hated team but its unlikely they are the most hated team overall.

Spam, its your poll. What were we supposed to answer?

a) the team the person voting hates the most?

b) the team the person voting thinks is the most hated by all teasm in the SEC?

c) the team that the person believes most people for his tram would hate?

It could be three different answers. One might think Florida is mthe most unpopular team among all voters. One might personally dislike Tennessee the most. An LSU fan might think most LSU fans dislike bama the most.

This should have been three pollls.
