Most Memorable/Emotional Jim Henderson Call of 2009 (2 Viewers)

I'll go with the "pigs have flown, hell has frozen over, the Saints are on their way to the Super Bowl" as the most memorable call period - not just the 2009 season.

For anyone who has followed the Saints for any length of time, the words and the emotional way they were delivered just kinda said it all. There was part relief, part dis-belief and a whole bunch of FINALLY!!!.

Just listened to it again for the one millionth time. The words and the emotions of Henderson brings a tear to the eye every time.

Hands down--it's good. The third time he says it, he practically sobs the word out while he takes three syllables to pronounce a one syllable word, only while he's almost sobbing, he can't cry because he's almost laughing, too. So much emotion, so much relief in that one word.

its good its good its goooooooood its probably my favorite....i love what he says before the super bowl too , its on recap from nfl network, something along the lines of its our time its our year and tonight will be our night.
hakim drops the ball was definitly my favorite before this year

All time I think you are correct. In the context of the moment, we had never won a post season game and the Rams were about to put yet another stake in our heart, I think that may be it.... Now fast forwarding to 2009 and what we accomplished it may pale in comparison, but until last year i would replay Hakeem Dropped the Ball at least a dozen times a year..... and still well up in tears when I did...lol

Ditto!

DWFC and famous Indian Webmaster went to game. When Hakim dropped ball we began our crying. We ended up holding the doors open to the NO Center and high fived what felt like 25000 screaming, crying, Saints fans all of which wanted to hug and celebrate as they passed through.

A night I will never forget.

I gotta agree with the consensus on this one. There was so much emotion let out with that one call. That one play. I know every person in the who dat nation was screaming at the top of their lungs, We finally made the Super Bowl.

It was the way he said it that summed up all of our feelings. The first "it's good" was said almost in shock - did it really happen? The second was when reality hit; "it's GOOD!" The last one was when the emotions caught up with the reality. To me, it wasn't what he said as much as how he said it that makes that call what it is.

He did it to Favre now he's done it to Manning !

And the "It's good, it's good it's goo-hoo-hood" are just priceless.

IMO their was more emotion and emotional calls for the NFCCG then what their was in the SB.

It was a huge curse broken just getting to the SB, it was more or less a cherry topping to win it.

Most definately "Pigs have flown" tops my list. The other calls are right behind it.

can someone make an mp3 version of just "its picked off" or "its good"

i need a new text message ringtone and no way of making it.

Try using Audacity to edit, and 4shared to host so you can share.

As I like others had waited 44 years to GET TO the SB I guess I would go with pigs have flown...

Am I the only one who thinks Jim's SB brodcast in total was below par for him? Even in the end he says something like "It APPEARS the Saints are going to win it"... WTH... 44 seconds and a 14 point lead? Jim I know you have been there for soo many bad times but it was in the bag.... Anyway I listened to his entire SB broadcast and again by the standards he has set of excellence, I thought his SB was sub par...

Oh and I agree with an earlier poster, The "Hakeem dropped the ball" is my favorite all time Jim Henderson call...
