That sucks. It's not like it was exactly her fault. The roster sucked. They now have the last 2 ROYs. The next coach is sitting pretty. Talk about walking into the kitchen and getting credit as the chef when the food is being plated to go out to guest.

They were on an upswing! They went from having the #1 pick to being the 6th seed of the playoffs. Man, the W is not a great place for job security! Both coach Sides & T-Spoon got a raw deal...especially T-Spoon!

Edit: I gotta wonder that with half the league firing their coaches, are they thinking that Dawn Staley will be available?

Looks like they have already been negotiating with Sides' successor. Is it just me? I thought that was like the ultimate unspoken rule between coaching colleagues, professional courtesy if you will, don't start talking to a team until they fire the other guy.

My only problem with the firing is that they waited so long after the season ended. Let her find another job before there's more competition.

I’m not so sure what Shaq said didn’t resonate and hasn’t been talked about. The product isn’t that good. There is a lot of bad play, a lot of marginal effort. Shaq correctly stated show me something to excite me. Show me a reason to watch. Clark was that reason. But, did it translate? You can’t tell me that the talent level is that bad, these are professional athletes. But they need to step up their games from coaches to players.
