N/S Brandin Cooks traded to Rams (1 Viewer)

Agreed.

Swimmer, has your dog taken over posting for you?

Haha. LMAO :smilielol:

15 years of Buddhist meditation training and people around me tell me that I've turned into a nice person. Personally I think the Doc finally got my meds right :9: But as the Buddha said, "Everything in the universe is a constant state of change." Let's see how long this lasts.

But SaintJ -Thanks very much for the kind words! Who Dat Brother! We are going to the SB this year

Hey Hey Hey Inside. Are you referring to my so called multiple personalities

Actually LMAO. You truly have a great sense of humor!

I'm not gonna lie, I've really come to appreciate you as a solid contributor to this forum over the past season or two. Idk if it's you or me who changed but either way, it's all good my black and gold brother. While I'm being honest, you used to annoy the **** out of me.

Cutting this off at the head. I am neither in love with Bonchie nor Swimmer - just showing appreciation where I feel it's warranted. No need for any more jokes that could possibly offend some of our members if they went further than the harmless comment made earlier in the thread.

You’ve always seemed quite nice and polite. I think he was referring to how sensical your post actually was. :hihi:

This makes me a little sad

Honestly I am happy with how our off season is going so far. Only bummer was losing Kelamente but signing some good contributors is far better than getting top free agents who may or may not buy into the team or the system. The Rams off season moves kind of reminds our off season move in 2014 after coming off a good season before....Get rid of good players and paying top free agents, only to see it failed miserably.

Rams move is more like trying to compete with the 49ers. But I am enjoy watching other teams overestimating themselves. Getting rid of players that was playing so well for them and bringing in players that there is no guaranteed they will do just as well. Isn't that a questionable move? Wasn't Sammy Watkins doing well for them? Cooks is a good player but Sammy can perform well enough to keep and not having to trade the first round for Cooks.

I agree I am loving this offseason for the Saints. Quietly, without much media attention, we're getting significantly better and plugging up some holes.

As Michael Thomas says:

"Shhhhhh"

The Rams look absolutely stacked...on paper, but will that translate onto the field? I honesty don’t know, I think there’s a good chance all of these big personnel changes blow up in their face. 2011 Eagles anyone?

Rams are going for it now. They will soon have Gurley, Goff, and several more to pay.

Michael Thomas needs some help. We need another receiver.

The Rams are going all in on this year with cap implosion coming next year. Cooks is still on his rookie deal and will want to get paid. Same with Peters, Donald, Gurley, and soon Goff. Suh is only on a one year deal. The conspiracy theorist in me is thinking the NFL wants the LA market revived and a Superbowl / playoff run to get the ratings and fan base charged.

No need for a conspiracy on this one. They are trying to build a one year SB team because they believe they are really close AND they are competing against the Chargers to win over the LA market. The best way to do it is to build up the hype. I do believe this will blow up in their faces, it doesn´t seem like an analytics driven decision, more like the typical dream team that fails.

Hey, don't encourage him and make him even worse.
