Not nice llama...not nice at all....:covri:

bears best receivers are olsen and forte. They need to find him some receivers to throw to.

We're just glad it's not our problem anymore. :)

BTW I saw Forte about three weeks ago at a Hornets game. That dude is built like a tank. I won't say that I root for him, but it is fun to watch him run.

I think the interesting thing will be to see how much was Marshall and crew and how much was Cutler. In fairness, it'll be very tough for him to get another PB with McNabb back in form, the media loving Romo and all things Dallas, Brees, Ryan et al, but I'll be interested to see what kind of year he has. Is Hester really Chicago's #1 WR now? Who else is left there?

Of course he's an elite QB.

Statistically maybe. He's not 1 / 10 the leader that Drew Brees is.

Good for Chicago to get a good QB, but 2 firsts plus the only other qb on your roster that you've had any success with is plenty to give up for him.

WE got a great deal when we got Brees in Free Agency. That was a dynamite deal to not have to give up anything for him cuz the Chargers were stupid.

THEY got an average deal. Both sides received good compensation, but it's pretty even IMO.

Yep, and he is all class man. So refreshing from Cedric Benson.

Yep, you guys got the steal of the century. I just hope Jay will be joining Drew in the NFC Pro Bowl for many years.

does anyone think it's really odd the way Urlacher is responding to all this?

"Urlacher, for his part, does not view Cutler as an incoming troublemaker.
"I would be ticked off, too, if someone was trying to trade me and didn't tell me about it," he told the Tribune. "I don't think Jay is going to be an issue. We have a pretty good locker room, so I'm not worried about that. [Linebacker] Hunter [Hillenmeyer] knows him. And [Cutler] seems like a pretty good guy. I've never met him but I've heard good things about him. I'm not worried about him fitting in."

that's from the ESPN story. like Chicago just traded alot for this guy to come play QB and he has to worry about whether the LB likes him or not? with what BU said about Orton it just seems like Cutler is going in there with a ginormous chip on his shoulder to play well and people already think he's a big baby.

:idunno:

Urlacher seems ok. He acknowledges they spent a lot. Was classy in saying he hopes Orton does well and that he thinks he's better than most think. I don't know, it's what I'd want to hear from a team leader rather than mindless repeats that you get from a lot of players.

Gotta hand it to the Bears for trading for a QB that hasn't led any team that he was the starting QB for (college or pro) to a winning season in the last seven seasons! And it only cost them two first round draft picks...

Fail in 3... 2... 1...

Compared to sitting on their hands for years? I can see this one going either way in 3 years, but I have to admit if I were a Bears fan I'd be happy now, but cautious.

Cutler should have stayed in Denver. The Bears have no offense. He's going to be garbage with those WRs. As for Kyle Orton, watch him shine. Frankly I think the Bears are a bunch of idiots. Two first rounders? They could have very well drafted a better QB with those picks.

The other thing I haven't seen posted is poor old Detroit... Lot of people had Cutler going there. Now arguably, they lost again.

Not only did they NOT get Cutler, he ended up going to the NFC North to put a whoopin' on them twice a year.

Then again, those two losses will go nicely with the other 14... :smilielol:
