Curious - Did anybody else hear the spot from Dan Le Batard where he referenced the locker room incident with Brees and Olin Kreutz a few year back? Apparently Kreutz was an active Volcano and Brees touched him on the shoulder in the locker room to talk to him and Kreutz wheeeld around to take a swing at him, saw it was Brees, and managed to restrain himself at the last second.

I heard that as well yesterday afternoon. Le Batard said that he was worse in Chicago and was a borderline psycho.

Kreutz was getting into with another teammate and when someone tried to break it up, Kreutz spun around to throw a haymaker at whoever it was grabbing his shoulder and when he saw that it was Brees he caught himself before throwing a punch.

He was cut in the middle of the season abruptly. I would not be surprised if this incident was the final straw.

I didn't but I'd like to hear more about this incident. On what show did this take place?

It was the Dan Le Batard Radio show...which to be clear puts heavy emphasis on the "E" in ESPN.

He wasn't cut. He retired mid season.
