N/S: Jets QB Geno Smith out 6-[10] weeks after being punched by teammate (Jets waive LB IK Enemkpali - merged). (6 Viewers)

I'm sorry, but QBs have no reason talking smack and getting into verbal altercations. Looking squarely at Geno Smith, Cam Newton, and even Phillip Rivers when he was younger.

Boomer Esiason said it was over $1000. Pay the man Geno

"It was something very childish, something sixth-graders could've talked about," Bowles said.

:spit:

How exactly would six-graders have handled a dispute over $1000? I'm almost 100% positive a fight would have ensued among six-graders. You know how much $1,000 is to a kid.

Hell, I'll throw down for a g.

No I won't, I'm just saying to to seem tuff. But I wouldn't just walk away either.

All kidding aside, I would sign the guy in a heartbeat, I've seen him play, and he doesn't play around.

Whoever red-thumbed that is dead to me!

Geno's career is now in jeopardy. Fitzpatrick or Grossman takes over and looks decent for a little while and/or reverts back to their/his ways. Enter Geno in the second half of the season. Either he will play out of his mind or go back to being mediocre. The HC isnt going to keep waiting for him to develop, and this is a monkey wrench in those plans.
