~ N/S Patriots 5 1/2 Point Favorites at Denver ~ (2 Viewers)

The guy is 7-1. Yet people are acting like if he loses one game against one of the best teams in the league this week it will justify all their hate.

How can you not root for Tebow?

Terrible OP. I'll be rooting for the Saints at noon and Tebow and the Broncos in the afternoon.

Well, I don't root for Tebow...I'm an LSU fan....

However, the Broncos will finally face a QB who isn't in a deep slump like Rivers was when they played the Bolts......I was never a Tebow believer, I always thought he was/is a lousy QB, and a decent RB.....but this next game will be the crossroads for the Broncos. If they win, many will keep fueling the fire of mystical powers, and will never believe that the Broncos D and their running game is the real deal in all this hoopla. Tebow has almost nothing to do with it.

If they lose this game......reality will hit all the true believers like a ton of brick.....they will cry, and lament of the missed oportunity....and soon Tebow and all the mysticism will be quickly forgotten....which is pretty much the fate of everything which goes sour....

41-16 Pats....been waiting for the tebows to face a decent offense.

They did, and the Lions destroyed them.

By the way, when you watch the play where Barber went out of bounds, you can see that he was trying to get the ground first, but was pushed out of bounds. Denver won that game by TAKING it from Chicago....The Bears GAVE them nothing.

Denver had to take Caleb Hanie to OT. Caleb Hanie.

7-1 with 6 of them 4th quarter/OT wins. Yea, that's nice and all, but good QBs don't need to come from behind every damn week. My eye test sees he's getting some progression as an actual QB, but until he can start winning games in the 2nd/3rd quarter, I'll remain on the fence.

if they lose this game, they wil have lost to the pats... pretty much the team of the decade... lol nothing to see here. I betcha the broncos pull it out tho lol. Im an LSU fan too, glad tebow is gone from the SEC no doubt.

I give the Broncos less than 5% chance of winning this game. The Pats want HFA through out the playoffs, and they will bring it.....I just can't see an offense which is dormant for 55 minutes/game, pulling this game out....

If anything...this game should be/will be over by the 4th qt....Brady is great displaying a clinical dismantle of the Broncos....I expect the Pats to jump ahead by 14 points in the 1st qt....that pretty much will end any kind of comeback from the Broncos offense...

Brady is obviously a better QB than Tebow, but he can learn a thing or two about humbleness (wow, didn't know that was a word) and leadership from Tebow.

Darth Vader vs. Jesus-bo.

I'll call it a push until I see what Belichick is wearing at the game.

Brady twists his ankle in the first and Tebow beats a backup again.

I wouldn't care who wins but I do enjoy all the gnashing of teeth Tebow causes. Go Tebow.

Ok, so they have a second year QB, first year starting, and by the logic in this thread he's better than 7 of the 8 QBs he has faced since becoming the starter. Maybe that's not too bad, I hope the Saints do this well post Brees.

He's not better than Brady, how many are? So if Brady beats them that proves that TT is not an NFL QB and needs to be replaced. Following that logic how many QBs has Brady beat and therefore should be replaced? This proves that they suck?

He's a second year player that has done just enough for his team to win 7 of 8 and this week they face the best team so far this year.

It's a great story so just enjoy it, that's what this game is all about.

The Saints got taken to the limit by Jake Locker, and got dismantled by AJ FEELEY!!!!! Does that reflect on Drew????? No? So what's your point???

Come from behind wins is why people are putting Eli Manning in the MVP arena, so why is it any different for Tebow?? Understand that I am not a fan or hater, but I remember a TON of this sort of talk when a certain Saint first got signed back in 2006 with a questionable shoulder and all.
Do you really want to eat that crow, or are you just taking the odds and hoping you end up being right??

did anyone seen this lol earlier today? Skip Bayless Serves Cris Carter About Tebow - YouTube

Even though I dont like Bayless he did serve CC in this debate haha. I also think somehow someway the broncos will win this week vs the nfl golden boy.

I can't believe I clicked on that. Those are the two most obnoxious people on ESPN, and thats saying something. :covri:

Edit: THREE most obnoxious people. Stephen A is also there.
