Let's not forget the Pats were embarassed only 2 years ago againsta similar team in the Dolphins who fielded a good defense and an option read offense. This time, the Pats have an even worse defense and will be playing in an environment that tires a person quicker than any other field in the country.
Not that it can't be, but for you acting as if the Pats win going a way and the Broncos have no shot, I question whether you're considering everything that affects outcomes of games.
I say 38-35 NE....and all analysts will be saying how Tebow proved more in this loss than he has at any other point in the season and they are believers more now than ever.
You can't take three quarters of football off and expect to beat the Patriots.
For the sake of dragging this out.......Grossman almost beat tied the game up last week at end of regulation....I would rather have Tebow than Grossman anyday, allday, everyday!!!
I think it would be smart to get a little deeper than that and not just take what national pundits say as gospel. Last week Tebow lead the Offense to a successful, yardage wise, first half. What did them in is an INT and a blocked FG, or they would have had points to show for their play.
Last week Tebow was one dropped pass by D. Thomas from passing for 300 yards on the Chicago Bears defense.
Now, all that being said, what makes you think he'll play poorly for the first 3 quarters? Incase no one's mentioned this, this week the Broncos are facing the worst defense they've played thus far.
Oh, and also, the defense has played lights out the first three quarters.
I think it would be smart not to assume no one here watched the game. I know what I saw in the first three and a half quarters of that game, as well as a few other games this season. I don't care who is to blame on Denver's offense for being shut out at home for three and a half quarters, all I know is that they were. How'd that vaunted defense do against Detroit? Against Minny? Do the Dolphins, Jets, Raiders, or Bears compare favorably to the Pats on offense? I think this game matches up perfectly for New England. Their poor defense should look better than normal against Denvers pedestrian passing game, and I don't think Denver's defense can keep Brady close enough for Tebow to catch in the fouth quarter.
Fair enough.
History says Denver has enough to keep it close, or win. I like the Pats to win, but Denver to cover.
The Pats will have the ball for probably 20 minutes in this game. If Tebow doesn't throw a pick and Denver doesn't allow a ST's TD, Denver has a great shot at winning due to the Pats pretty awful defense.
I think a key person in this game is Brian Dawkins. I think's he's questionable.
I have to disagree. "Sexy Timmy" just doesn't flow as well as "Sexy Rexy".
Brady is obviously a better QB than Tebow, but he can learn a thing or two about humbleness (wow, didn't know that was a word) and leadership from Tebow.
Brady could learn leadership from Tebow?
With multiple Lombardis, Super Bowl MVPs, league MVPs, and a supermodel wife. Brady's ego is well deserved. That's a cool little grid of laughy-faces you made there.
That aside, though, there are few quarterbacks in the NFL with the leadership qualities Tebow is showing right now. His entire team is ready to follow him anywhere, and he's leading them to win after win.
Pretty much the definition of leadership. And Brady's a whiny little ball of hair and ego.
