Tebow is the best 4th quarter QB in the NFL this season.

Let's all praise him.

How can you not root for Tebow?

Terrible OP. I'll be rooting for the Saints at noon and Tebow and the Broncos in the afternoon.

just check the ratings he gets on the threads he starts. they are pretty consistent with the results he is getting with this one

Brady is obviously a better QB than Tebow, but he can learn a thing or two about humbleness (wow, didn't know that was a word) and leadership from Tebow.

Humbleness may be a word (everything's a word on the internets), but "humility" would be much better.

And LOL @ the LSU fans who don't root for Tebow because he's from Florida. Let's talk about Ingram and Harper...

They're not in college any more - let it go.

I mean, really, how much energy must it take to dislike Tebow? I am 100% sure there's no bearded guy in the sky, but that's no reason to hate on Tebow. He's fun to watch, he's humble, his teammates love him, he brings an amazing throwback offense to the NFL that most of us haven't been alive long enough to have witnessed before...and he plays in the AFC. What's the problem?

The guy is 7-1. Yet people are acting like if he loses one game against one of the best teams in the league this week it will justify all their hate.

I don't want to "justify the haters" because I like Tebow, but Vince Young had such a winning percentage as a rookie as well (and ended up stealing Rookie of the Year honors from Colston who truly deserved it). His wins were also largely due to a suffocating defense and great running back rather than his bad QB stats with a couple of good plays in crunch time. Despite his Win/Loss numbers, however, VY never was much of a QB and Tennessee fell apart the year they tried to rely on his play to get them over the hump. He short-circuited and Fisher got fired. Now, I don't expect Tebow to short-circuit because he has a much better head on his shoulders than VY, but I also think John Elway is smart enough to know he needs Tebow to be "Slash" with a true QB under center to have the possibility of bringing Denver another Lombardi trophy.

Tebow is a great football player and a great human being, he just isn't a QB. He should be a HB/TE who a coach throws in at QB on a wildcat now and then.

Make no mistake, I'd love to have him on the Saints. He'd be a great asset, but I certainly wouldn't want him starting under center. I'm certain Drew and Payton would have a field day using him like Bush or Sproles, and he'd have a ton of great plays for us.

I see Denver winning by 7 in the 4th quarter. The Pats have been looking to lose and Denver has good linebackers that can neutralize their te's. 24-17 Broncos and he makes Brady fall to the ground begging for divine forgiveness. Brady then calls Dansby to confirm that God was there and they join Tebows
flock.

The last time I checked.....(I don't think I'm wrong on this one) both Ingram & Harper are playing for the Saints, and I'm a Saints fan too.....so they do get a pass for past indiscretions.

Tebow is a Bronco......who cares about the Broncos?

not me......

I am also very interested in the outcome of the Pats/Bronchos game. As for Tebow time....He played the fourth quarter in week 5 versus the San Diego Chargers sixteen points down and brought the Bronchos back to within two points. The Chargers then kicked a field goal to go up five points.
Tebow threw a "hail Mary" (sorry for the pun, but I can use it as he isn't Catholic) that fell incomplete. Does coming close but no cigar count in the first game count as "Tebow Magic"?
Tebow's second "start" was against the Detroit Lions at Mile High, where was the magic that day?
The list of teams then Tebowed then include Chiefs, Vikings, Raiders, Jets, Chargers, Bears...most of which are pretty offensively challenged.
I suspect that even if the Patriots win big in Denver, the importance won't be perceived by Tebow believers.
I suspect that this time next year, Denver will have to be making a decision on the direction of quarterback for their ball team. And I suspect the Broncos record then will have the same fans calling for the backup.
Believers and Haters....the stuff of the internet.

Enough already.

The Chicago Bears shot themselves in the butt in regulation with the stupid play to stop the clock and the fumble in overtime inside field goal range. Idiots adding fuel to the Tim Tebow fire.

That's what Tebow does. He looks a certain way at the other team and makes them second guess everything they do. Tebow's O and D play their hearts out for him. Some QB's and coaches have that ability. That's part of football, and wins games for other teams as well.

They will probably lose to NE, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they won.

If Denver wins, are you onboard? Better hurry, the bandwagon is almost full! :hihi:

If the Broncos somehow win this game, they are winning the AFC. Calling it now.

He would make a great Dallas Clark type TE, with good yardage after the catch.

The Saints got taken to the limit by Jake Locker, and got dismantled by AJ FEELEY!!!!! Does that reflect on Drew????? No? So what's your point???

Come from behind wins is why people are putting Eli Manning in the MVP arena, so why is it any different for Tebow?? Understand that I am not a fan or hater, but I remember a TON of this sort of talk when a certain Saint first got signed back in 2006 with a questionable shoulder and all.
Do you really want to eat that crow, or are you just taking the odds and hoping you end up being right??

So you're saying Caleb Hanie is as good as Jake Locker?

Hyperbole. Feeley went 20/37 for 175 yards, 1TD and 0INT. That's not even close to dismantled. The final score was 31-21. The game I referenced was the Lions game:
Stafford: 21/30 267 3TD 0INT. The final score was 45-10.
That's dismantled. The two games are apples and oranges.

I could care less about what the media wants to make out of Eli. 90+% of his wins aren't from come from behind, which was my point.

I have no crow to eat. I say he's a winner. The record proves that. I also say he's not a good QB. The stats back that up. I've said he does look to be improving a bit. That's more eye test, so I guess I could be wrong there.

I'm pretty curious how he'll play against that garbage defense the Pats field.

You are right about the apples and oranges, was running late and had spew it real quick. As far as Hanie being as good as Locker, I don't know but I doubt it. Have not been forced to watch a Bears game yet, thankfully. Besides Locker didn't look like much of a rookie except on the last play.

What I meant by the comparison was that Tebow's one L was before the team believed in him (most Broncos fans still don't) and the defense was playing sub-par compared to where they are now.
I must have missed the post where you said the "winner and not a qb" stuff, because I agree with you there. I think he would be better suited as a TE as well as many others. I also am very interested to see how he develops, because if he can turn his passing into a strength, he will be a very dangerous QB.

I think this is the only Tebow thread I haven't said it :hihi:

Tebow lights up the Patriots terrible pass defense, Broncos win high scoring shootout going away.
