Suspenseful Game 7 on the ABC Network right now. Maple Leafs and Bruins finishing up the 2nd Period and no one has scored in this game thus far. Edit: 3rd period has begun....0-0 .

My Stanley Cup Finals prediction of Rangers vs Stars is .....as John Travolta and the Bee Gees used to say: Ah, ah, ah, ah Stayin' Alive"Stars move on to the next round...
So early?Game 2 Hurricanes vs Rangers tonight at 6pm
Jake Guentzel just scored to put the Hurricanes up by one.Let’s Go Guentzels!
Amazing that the Rangers emerged victorious. They'll need to step it up in Game 3 on the road.
[/QUOTEAnytime a team wins or guts out a win in a 2OT NHL post-season takes a certain level, skill, and determination to pull it off, along with varying degrees of luck sometimes to have the right power play come around and you maximize the scoring opportunity you're given. Rangers found a way to do that tonight and there's nothing particularly amazing about it, it's just perseverance and lets not forget. Hurricanes had their chances and Rangers goalie had an outstanding game, saving 54 shots tonight.
These types of games are "grinders", mentally, physically, emotionally and these games the way and how long they can drag on, just getting the win even though sports writers, analysts, or commentators will argue the opposing team may have out-played you, is the most crucial thing. New York going into Raleigh on the road up 2-0, is the best possible scenario they could hope for because the Hurricanes are returning home tomorrow morning in a deep hole with all the pressure and anxiety, collectively, on them.
