NFL meeting to ban hip drop tackles.. (Update: Now banned) (1 Viewer)

Same sheet different day. Dude asks how often some thing happened. I'm answering that dude.. and here you come... .................."You just don't understand, why you mad bro?" "here we go again" classic.

So I am the one trying to push buttons in this scenario? 😂

Here’s one for you to look up - “deflection.”

Interesting.

You're just upset because I immediately said I won't engage in the silly argument with you. It's what you guys want.

But like I said though...moving along. No time for people that are here to troll, and not just with me but others as well.

Sorry that using the word "mad" to describe your clear distain for the rule was apparently so egregious and offensive.

no I'm confused as to why suddenly "you're mad about something you just don't understand" when I'm simply responding to someone that asked how often said banned moves happened before they were banned. I wasn't even taking a position on the rule change...................................... and you go to the "you mad bro?" "you don't even understand"....

mad about what? why is it your go to move is to try and belittle people? I'm not the only person I've watched you do this to. Like, you don't have to try and dismiss people as "mad". Cause I don't have a clue what to be mad about. I haven't even taken a position. My position in this thread established from page 2 or 3... "they want to stop people from getting hit from behind in the legs, makes sense"....

Take care.

"i was told we just needed something in place to be able to fine players when someone gets hurt", "it's going to be really difficult to call live in game, I gotta be honest some of the ones they showed, i couldn't tell if they were hip drops or not", "I don't even think they will call it, it will just be used Monday or Tuesday to fine players", went on to speculate that the NFL believes some teams are still doing "Bounties..."

Apologies to those who will be offended … but this made me laugh

isn't that how Jeff Blake got hurt?
I still proudly wear my Blake jersey … “If only” … 🤷🏻‍♂️ … We were fortunate with Brooks … But I still wonder if that wouldn’t have happened to Blake (That season I was inside the Dome for the season opener and the game Blake went down against the Raiders, leading to Brooks’ sudden emergence.

The NFL is soooo worried about player safety and wellbeing, yet makes teams play international games and play those ABSURD short weeks for Thursday games. Give me a break.

Did anyone watch the Bengals game? LATE in the game as the Bengals are driving to make it a 2 score lead, Ja'Marr Chase got hip drop tackled resulting in a 3rd and 4, no flag was thrown, and Ja'Marr lost his ish on the ref, had to be drug away from the Ref arguing by Burrow, and ending up with a personal foul flag from abusing the ref making it a 3rd and 19. In my opinion it cost the Bengals the game cause it was a huge momentum swing.

The league never had plans to call penalties, they only had plans to fine players as stated in the Pat McAFee interview... Now we see if they were actually serious.

They would be fairly tough to call confidently in real-time, at least until they have a baseline of what they want to call.
