Great game and series. This is a way better allstar game format than the NBA. Baseball has done this as a preseason thing, but would be great to see as an allstar break series.

I watched this game with a bunch of Canadian acquaintances, one of them originally from Slovenia, and we were at his house, so we were drinking this Slovak stuff made from blueberries... they really suffered the game, and I really suffered drinking that stuff. That was a nasty hangover.

Yeah, yeah, yeah…Ned was bad today and Blomqvist couldn’t stop the bleeding. Pens remind me a bit of the Saints in that they are trying to do a “soft rebuild” while trying to remain competitive. It just doesn’t work.

Ah well, c’est la vie. Going to watch a D3/club game later tonight between UTSA and Texas Tech. Should be “interesting” after their contest last night.

Unfortunately now that the regular hockey season has resumed, my Rangers lost to the Sabres..the SABRES....The Rangers lost to the Sabres by a score of 8 to 2! Ugh!

Well I just have high expectations for them every season. They lost 10 in a row earlier and are currently not in the playoffs

Yeah. I meant why aren't they doing better in your opinion? Injuries? Players getting older? Poor coaching? Something else?

I’m just speculating honestly, this is the time of year where I really dive into hockey but what I’ve seen (thanks google) the losing streak, apparently there is/was a disconnection between players and GM, there’s issues with the coach and the players,

“Poor team defense, a lack of production from key players and an anemic power play have sent the Rangers plummeting down the standings”
