If a kicked puck hits a defender in hockey, it is generally considered a "no goal" situation, meaning that if the puck goes into the net after hitting the defender following a kicked action, the goal will not be awarded to the attacking team; this is because kicking the puck is considered an illegal play in hockey and any deflection off a player after a kicked puck is still considered a result of the kick.

I watched that one frame by frame and it's damn close! It looks like B. Tkachuk may have missed his shot and the puck hit his skate then went in of the defender.
