I think the criticism is unfair. We all knew that whenever we scored a touchdown the Rams were going to go back and get points. Only strategy was to deny them time. If not for one bad play call, or perhaps one Taysom injury that altered the play calls, it would have worked. Strategy the entire game was to shorten it. He stuck to it. Credit to him. Offense just let him down. Feels like the season ended with that Taysom injury, frankly.

This was his big audition game and he failed miserably. Yeah I know he inherited this mess of injuries and underperforming players but time management was poor. At times I thought Allen was coaching again.

I actually think that was the smartest drive of football I've seen in a long time. There's no way we want to score and leave any time on the clock. We simply didn't have the personnel (OL/Taysom) to grind another first down/touchdown there at the end. I still think the strategy was correct, though

What your saying holds salt until we are on draft night and the team that bought into the tank picks your guy that turns their franchise around.

I don't understand the argument for poor time management in the 4th. I thought we played it well. If we scored, we were going to give them less than a minute to get in field goal range. I was not impressed with the 4th down play call. Carr held on the ball for far too long. He should have at least threw it up to someone.
