I disagree. I think he should be in the pool of candidates. Complain about what he did fine, but Rizzi is making chicken soup out of chicken feathers. He has zero room for error and has to take chances and try to do things differently. Plus, he has Carr and I’m seriously wondering about Carr’s football IQ. He’s got the physical talent, and with time is good. But man put him in a corner and he’s just not the guy.

What your saying holds salt until we are on draft night and the team that bought into the tank picks your guy that turns their franchise around.

First I’d love to see the strategy to out tank the Giants/Raiders/Jags/Pats etc. That is not a feasible strategy when 2 of them are on the schedule.

I wouldn’t mind a higher pick but there’s no one except maybe Hunter that will single-handedly help turn a franchise around. This draft is weak.

The Pelicans are not as bad off as the Saints. They just need to trade Brandon Ingram for a 15-20ppg center and hope in the lottery they get one of the top 2 picks and they are golden. If they get Cooper Flagg they will win a chip in the next 3 to 4 years.

They can reset easier than the saints but no one wants Zion or Ingram in spite of how much I’d love for them to be traded.

- Injury bug demolish our season
- No accountability. It literally took the owner of the team to tell the GM his job to fire the head coach.

I don't even care about the playoffs anymore just finish the season with pride. Start getting rid of some players and staffs.

I would hope people are smart enough to judge an overall body of work and not one game. The Rams are top to bottom a better team than the Saints. It was, surprisingly to me, a competitive game until the end. I can live with that. The unrealistic expectations are, well, unrealistic.

This showed Rizzi is not ready for Prime Time, dominated the first half and got 6 points. I want a defense again!! And an offense.

Right, Im not disputing that. But people supported Allen, despite seeing zero head coaching ability out of him from his days in Oakland, until they finally just couldn't defend him. I don't care who Loomis hires next. If that HC loses, we shouldnt say anything about that coach. This has moved well beyond the HC now. Everything should be directed at Loomis from this point on. He is the one that needs to go. As long as he is here, its his mess and his vision that got us here. Not Rizzi or whoever the new HC will be.
