Payton said that in his press conference. Kat Terrell was repeating what he said. If Hill clears concussion protocol, which we should know by Wednesday, then Hill will be starting at QB. Siemean will be the #2.

I remember earlier in the season several fans insisting that it takes more than 4 games to know how good a player can be at QB and that QB's can get better with more experience. Yet somehow that doesn't apply to Hill, just Winston?

The thing is, your opinion and my opinion don't matter to Payton at all. He doesn't even know what our opinions are.

Based on what Payton has consistently said and done, you should prepare yourself to be extremely nervous for a least a few games with Hill as the starting QB. More likely than not, it's going to happen. I don't think anyone can wish it away.

I would be nervous with Siemean as well. He was 13-12 as a starter in Denver. Had good and bad moments. He hasn't started a game since what? 2017 or 2018? I'm not knocking the guy but I don't think its a better situation than Hill at QB.

Hill has also had terrible throws that have been intercepted. I just think that Semien has more upside.
