Honestly, it doesn’t matter to me at this point. Hill or Trevor both give you chances snd both have drawbacks. Whoever CSP picks has to be the best option. I am surprised he verbally penciled in Hill so quickly.

Payton's consistent, so it's not a surprise. The only question is his health. I'm open to both guys given the circumstances but the concussion thing with Taysom is a concern.

No one is good with their team's QB throwing INTs (well, at least I think no one is). and I don't want to speak for anyone, but the issue I have is with the attitude towards Taysom:

Everyone else at QB, who practices QB exclusively from OTA's on: he has no WR's, he needs time to gel with the WRs, the oline sucks, the play calling sucks...
Taysom, who practices many positions, and comes in cold to throw a pass like that: he sucks.

"How much time we give this QB?"

Everyone else: "you got to give him the full season to properly evaluate"
Taysom: 4 games.

Hill typically takes too long to release the deep ball, but I think that is correctable. I think he throws the ball well in general. I think the main concern is whether he will use the whole field and not stare down receivers. If he doesn’t, then I think he’ll do well.

I was good with all of JWs overthrows, lack of anticipation, and over all accuracy issues in the intermediate area... so yeah, I am good with these. I think we can overcome them should they arise.... Just like with JWs deficiencies. Our defense and running game are that good. Any other derp-derp questions?

His deep throws are consistently like that. Even when they get caught, the WR has to turn and wait for it like it's a punt.

Keep hill in his current role he hasn't shown he can correctly scan the field. Your asking for trouble if it's 1 read and not there. He'll force a throw or just take off and miss the check down.
