Why does everyone think we were going to for sure take Foster? Because the board thought so? He is one of the worst character issue risks in the draft with a shoulder that might be hurt worse than is reported... and we ended up with a OT... we seem to always be *****ing about not getting OT help except when we draft them high.

No. Every draft pick isn't going to be on defense.

That means we're going 7-9 again. And that we traded Brandin Cooks for a tackle.

We need pass rush bigtime.

Offense is not the problem here

But it could be. We needed a tackle badly. We still have Brees, Ingram and AD that needs a wall. We didn't reach for anyone and I respect that. Just because this draft is weak overall for lineman doesn't mean the ones that are there in the 1st and 2nd are bad. He's a day 1 starter.

Yuck. Needed a DE; good one there; we pick an OT in a weak OL draft.

Which is precisely why you take the OT now to get the best value. There will definitely be a good DE at 42.

It's kind of funny. We've made it the highest priority to protect Brees but the lowest priority to get after the other team's QB.

Would love to snag Demarcus Walker at 42 for pass rush. I wouldn't have minded him at 32, but with us being able to probably get him with our 2, I would have been disappointment. I personally think he is Jr with run D skills. Very ferocious pass rusher.
