I feel like I'm having a brain fart, but why would they hold WM Kickoff here when WM isn't going to be held down here? Or is that what you mean by the last sentence? That they might be announcing us hosting it a 3rd time?
I was thinking exactly that, announce WM in NO.I feel like I'm having a brain fart, but why would they hold WM Kickoff here when WM isn't going to be held down here? Or is that what you mean by the last sentence? That they might be announcing us hosting it a 3rd time?

The National Weather Service does not have official names for winter storms. The Weather Channel does that for marketing purposes. I only know this because I asked a similar question and researched it when the talk of snow came up.Wait is this winter storm really called Enzo
lol
Oh ok, about rightThe National Weather Service does not have official names for winter storms. The Weather Channel does that for marketing purposes. I only know this because I asked a similar question and researched it when the talk of snow came up.
If you've been watching NXT for any length of time, you'd know that Cora was a huge heel before her time off. Rox was a bit more recent and a lot of people didn't really care for her heel turn, probably because she and Cora never really completed the story of their falling out.So remember when the whole "Dirty Dom gets booed so loud that he can't even talk" was considered so amazing, because it was a sign of epic heel heat?
Then the same thing happened when New Day tried to explain their actions toward Big E. Fair enough, I get it.
But a few minutes ago, I was flipping through the local channels and came across NXT. Roxanne and Cora were trying to speak to Bayley, and received that same treatment from the crowd. I cut the TV off because it sounded so annoying.
So yeah, that's basically become 2002 "What?" to me now. And no disrespect to Cora or Roxanne, but I cannot imagine that their characters are generating that much heel heat.......this is just something a bunch of copycat fans are doing now for heels, I would guess.
To be fair, NXT is held at the Performance Center which is considerably smaller than any arena. Easier for sound to appear more louder. So remember when the whole "Dirty Dom gets booed so loud that he can't even talk" was considered so amazing, because it was a sign of epic heel heat?

And here's where I will fully admit that I've watched virtually none of NXT in the last several years. So to your point, there probably is a good bit of relevant backstory that I missed out on.If you've been watching NXT for any length of time, you'd know that Cora was a huge heel before her time off. The heat has been building for several weeks now. I'm not saying they're Dom level or anything, but the heat has been earned.
I mean, I definitely get the sentiment. Some get overused and others shouldn't really be resurrected. I haven't really seen much of the "you've still got it" chant. I see the "you deserve it" one a lot more. Sometimes it's warranted, but they're using it a bit too much. And here's where I will fully admit that I've watched virtually none of NXT in the last several years. Having said that, the whole thing just kind of wreaked of that thing that wrestling fans do from time to time where they take something that applied really well to certain other unique situations, and then start applying it to multiple other situations to where it gets watered down. Another example was the usage of the "you've still got it" chants. It started out applicable, but then after a while if you were ever on TV in the '80s or '90s, and you came back and threw a few punches and kicks in the ring during the last 15 or so years, chances are you were going to be informed that you've still got it.
