Does anyone know what happened with Wyatt Six? They hyped them up so much yet I feel like people forgot about them

It's just petered out.

Spooky sheet in wrestling dies the second you get to the wrestling part. It's the same problem Fiend Bray Wyatt had. You can do all the cool vignettes and promos you want, but the second you get to the actual wrestling part it no longer makes any sense.

Undertaker was really the only one that ever made it work. Maybe Kevin Sullivan back in the Florida territory days, but even that gimmick was playing off the real world Satanic panic that was going on the time.

Wyatt 6 feels like a tribute band -- a novelty that really doesn't appeal to me, but I understand why they are doing it and why some people like it. Individually all are reasonably talented, but their ethos and motivations have always been directly tied to Bray and the announcers have had no issue mentioning as much. There's really not even been any explanation about who the characters are, where they came from, or their tie to Bray outside of Bo.

I don't think it's dead, but it's hard to see a capacity for them outside of their current use: an attraction, that operates totally outside of any championship picture. Some group that cleans up and eliminates a character long enough for a gimmick retooling. This is something that is probably very cool at house shows or at Indie promotions, where continuity and long form storytelling are mostly out of the window.

I loved Bray, but he really wasn't as creative as he gets credit for. He lifted pretty directly from major horror iconography and films, and made only minor tweaks. Still it was commendable and impressive that he made it work in a professional wrestling format. Still, he could never quite land the plane because his storytelling relied heavily on the framework of others’ work.

Damian Demento and Papa Shango would like a word. :hihi:

Meh, not a fan of Omos...at all. The only match I've seen with him in it where he's halfway decent is vs Seth.

Omos is just a boring really tall dude.
Part of it was how Vince wanted him presented also. I remember MVP saying how Vince (being Vince) misused him despite him having some skill and wanting more development.

I've heard nothing but praise about his brief time at NOAH. We will see if it translates to success much like how Anna Jay improved after spending time in Japan.

Dude was over as fork on his excursion to Japan. The NOAH crowd loved him. I'm rooting for him, he seems like a cool guy in real life. If WWE doesn't work out I think he's already established he can have a great career in Japan, though.

I mean, I'm willing to have an open mind, but how he was used previously was pretty lame. They tried to make him larger than life for sure, but his ring work and presentation was underwhelming.

I'm happy for him with how he's done in Japan. Let's see if he can do that in the E.

2 things one his size works against him, see Great Khali. Those guys are so big they look stationary. Second his mic stills not great.

I've seen Omos real tweets and interviews and he actually seems like a really cool nerd.

So apparently Enzo has cleaned himself up and Bill has been public in how he's changed his life, including marrying Lexie Nair. Do you think they could ever be welcomed back? They were so over.
