well that's unfortunate - I was hoping this was a laughing with vs laughing at dealNo she isn't just laughing it off sadly.
The IOC pushed around host countries for forever until recently when only the nutty countries wanted to host (thats how we got a 2nd Beijing Olympics, when the only other bid was from Kazakhstan)I had no idea that country’s were able to select which sports to put in play in the Olympics. So, France requested breakdancing, and LA requested football and to omit boxing.

The closest I ever got was patroling the coast during the Seoul Olympics. If I could afford it, I would love to go to the Winter Olympics somewhere like Norway or Switzerland. That would be awesome.has anyone ever attended the Olympics?
Which one? Which events did you see?
We are talking about going to LA in 28
I attended the Winter Olympics in Torino in 2006. But, I guess you're asking about summer events. I will say that the unexpected cool thing about those Olympics is that for every "A" event ticket we bought, we also had to get a "B" event. A couple of those "B" events were a lot of fun - especially Curling. We did buy some "A" event tickets online, which did get you around the two ticket requirement.has anyone ever attended the Olympics?

We did have a great time. There were some great athletes and the interaction with fans from all over the world was a trip.
Definitely. We would not have purchased tickets to curling otherwise, and now we are fans.I was asking about either
That's cool
It's something I'd love to do one day, definitely would love to see the opening ceremony
The B event thing is interesting, probably a good way to get people to see sports they aren't as familiar with
She could be the next Eddie the Eagle or Eric the Eel if she'd just own that she LOVES break dancing but just -- as the judges confirmed -- can't DO it.Raygun, viral Olympic breakdancer, asks for privacy, calls criticism of her performance 'devastating'

Exactly. I'd totally lean into it. But everyone handles attention differently. She could be the next Eddie the Eagle or Eric the Eel if she'd just own that she LOVES break dancing but just -- as the judges confirmed -- can't DO it.
