there are dozens of ways to make a poboy and it will still be a poboy, yet there is only one way to boil crawfish or to make a muffaletta....

the middle row are closer to being equal choices so i will go with gumbo and all of it's variations

pralines and beignets are also one trick ponies while king cake has several types...

I would actually choose the muffaletta before poboys

Agreed on the 3rd row....what decided it for me was year round availability

Before i read ur post those are the same three i picked.. though i had to think hard between jambalaya and gumbo on the second row.. i might already be regretting it .. hope it’s not an intractable decision .


The only item amongst all three rows that i dont like is the muffuletta.. but that’s only b/c i cant stand olives/olive dressing, i have gotten one many many years ago at Central Grocery sans olive dressing and it was alright .

quality isn't the issue...it's the variations that make poboy the only logical choice...

you can put anything on a poboy, including muffaletta components or boiled crawfish....
