So now he is our head coach, what is everyone feelings now. After the season everyone had their own opinions on the new head coach. Mike Vrabel, Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, Joe Brady, Mike McCarthy, Klinsbury, and Kafka were names most often mentioned. Kellen Moore was hardly mentioned. Everyone had their own opinions and choices. But seeing what had happened and Moore winning a Superbowl, does it change your perception? If all the candidates are willing to sign here now, would your pick be different?

I am very happy the way it played out. We've been asking for a young offensive minded coach, so we essenaitally got we asked for with that.
We will need to give him time to rebuild this roster and implement his game plan.
Yeah but if you have a choice of candidates right now with everything that happened would you still pick Moore? I mean my choice was and still is Mike McCarthy because of his experience. I am happy we have Moore.

Exactly. PLEASE let us give him time to make this his team. Twitter just goes crazy after every loss and I don't want everyone calling for his head if we only win 5 games next year. We all know the team isn't great and we all know we have no salary cap. So give Moore at least a year before saying he stinks and demanding Loomis quit and Moore be fired.

Let me hop off this soapbox and just say that I'm happy with the hire. Give me the offensive guy who will be here and not just an OC that will get poached year after year.

I will evaluate him on the results, primarily in the first two years. It's business, not personal.

I wanted Kingsbury or Vrabel of the ones that were talked about early. After watching Glenn do his intro presser I wanted him too. But I am in not disappointed with Moore and like him better than half or more of the early names. And he had a really really good playoff run as a play caller. The Super Bowl really solidified him because the Chiefs took the run game away and he spanked them anyway.

I was in the McCarthy camp, but Moore has a lot of positives that I can be happy with. I didn't Johnson was an option, and I didn't really want Aaron Glenn -- I'd rather an offensive mind than defensive.

My favorite going in to the process was Brady, but Moore shares many of the same features as Brady plus the guy actually wants to be here and take on the challenge. Him winning the Super Bowl is a plus, but that game wasn’t make or break for me. I’m just ready to see us move in a new, fresh direction. It’s way over due. It still bothers me that Loomis didn’t want to fire DA and I was worried he would pick a yes man, but Moore is a fresh face and will bring in his own approach.

Right now he's still my second choice . But a good second choice just because he's a young offensive guy with play calling experience.

Happy about the hire even though I initially wanted McCarthy. Moore has a higher ceiling and the SB performance settled it for me. Let’s give him time to fix the offense and rebuild the roster. Restored my hope in the front office too.

I was fine with McCarthy, Moore, Brady, or Kingsbury. I would get the vision with McCarthy as a steady influence that can return you to a playoff team. And I realize that he was a pretty low risk option, but he also came with a shorter shelf life.

But, honestly, I'm happier with the aggressive hire of the youngest, smartest guy in the room move. I think it signals that Loomis is done trying to hold onto the past and realises we needed a fresh start. I think it's going to lead to a more exciting team and potentially better results in the long run. I would have liked Kingsbury, but there was the fear of the retread and his lack of sustained success in Arizona. And while I liked Brady, he's not close to as ready to be a head coach as Moore is.

And, in the end, the risk of waiting this long paid off with better "optics" than anyone would have imagined when Joe Brady withdrew his name from consideration. I think we both got what might have been one of if not the hottest HC candidate this year had others not already taken jobs. If Moore had been in Philly one more year, he would have been as hot or hotter than Ben Johnson was this year. In fact, he likely would have been the hottest name on the market and we managed to get him a year early.

But, with that comes the fact that we need to be patient with him and let him grow as an NFL head coach. He's the youngest HC in the league. He is 6 years younger than Payton was when he got the job and we considered him a very young HC. It should be exciting watching him grow and the franchise grow with him.

I was pretty open at the beginning. I did kinda lean towards McCarthy just because i thought an experienced hand maybe necessary to guide them out of this. But as the playoffs took off and Moore became the focus it was hard not to pull for him to get the job. After all was said and done the Saints signed the hottest OC to be their next head coach and who would have thought that would happen 3 months ago?

I was somewhat apprehensive during the hiring process because it seemed as though all of the candidates were falling to the wayside.
But it now feels like Moore was at the top of their list.
Glad that we got him!

I think their top choices were Vrabel and Glenn but after that Moore became the top choice. And I can't help but think that maybe those guys taking other jobs was the best result for this team.
