Other than the Saints who else do you pull for... (2 Viewers)

KC...kind of a childhood thing...but a far and distant second to the Saints

In the NFL, I don't care too much about teams other than the Saints. If I was to care, it might be about the Dolphins - mostly because I was a fan back in the Shula days. These days, I barely even know who's on the team, though.

In the playoffs this year, I really think we're look at the possibility of the "Who Cares? Bowl" being played in Tampa this year. When the teams with the worst possible records for playoff teams have a strong possibility of playing, it's a sure thing that I don't (care, that is). The only team left in the playoffs that truly deserves to be there, IMO, is Pittsburgh. I kind of like the way that team is run and their football philosophy, so I can be a fan of them. If they get knocked off this weekend, though, I'll probably be watching BSG reruns on Superbowl night.

Arizona is a bit of a compelling story in that they're one of four teams that have never been to the big dance. And, in fact, they're one of two teams from the older NFL group that have never been. So, you kind of pull for the underdog thing. The downside is that the other team that has never been is the Saints, so pulling for the Cardinals would mean pulling for the Saints to be the only non-recent-expansion team never to have been. So, despite the fact that Kurt Warner could be the only QB to win the SB with two different teams (an interesting stat), I really can't pull for Arizona. The only thing that interests me at all would be the Pennsylvania bowl between the Steelers and Eagles (even though I can't stand Eagles fans).

I drink to a good postseason. Only 3 games left to enjoy and I hope they are good.

I usually pull for the team that I've bet on if the Saints aren't playing.

as soon as the saints are out of contention, I'll usually root for philly.

The wife and I went to the Titans/Saints preseason game a few years back. Great stadium and friendly fans. Being in that other league, I allow myself to cheer for them in season and post (never head-to-head).
After that, the underdogs.
