Other than the Saints who else do you pull for... (1 Viewer)

Baltimore.
This town has an underdog feel to it right now and I can definitely get behind that.

I agree. They seem to be our polar opposite.

Saints: Tremendous offense, kinda ok defense with glimmers of greatness
Ravens: Tremendous defense, kinda ok offense with glimmers of greatness

If only we could just meld into one team......... :9: :worthy:.....sorry....uh, what was I saying again? Oh yeah.....I like the Ravens also.:supporter:

i was rooting for the Titans because nobody gave them respect, now i'm rooting for the Cards, just because i'd love to see the "worst team to ever make the playoffs" win the superbowl after all the so-called "experts" were saying they should change the playoffs so that teams like them couldn't get in... ridiculous!

I like the Steelers as well. I like the blue-collar, grind-it-out teams. And the game in 2006, though we lost, gave me a lot of respect for them -- one of the best football games I've ever watched.

I'll also pull for the Mannings, just because of the NOLA connection (my mom actually taught Eli at Newman), and the Ravens are growing on me just because their defense is a thing of beauty, and I'm jealous of that. :)

And of course, whoever is playing against the Falcons, Panthers, Cowboys, or Patriots. The Bucs don't bother me so much.

Rockland County? NYC? :hihi:

I root for individual players that I'd like to see win a ring. There's really no one that fits that category except for McNabb. The Eagles as a whole would be nice to get a ring too. So I guess I am going for the Eagles this year.

I root for Buffalo, but that doesn't do me any good this year.

I usually watch the playoffs and just arbitrarily pick a team in each game that I want to win. Usually underdogs. Right now I want to see an Arizona/Baltimore Superbowl.

Used to live in Queens when I signed up. Actually lived in Astoria then Bellerose. Getting ready to move to Brick City (Newark)

The RAVENS!!! I can watch the Ravens win a game 3-0. Just to see Ray Lewis and co. beat the snot out of people is a thing of beauty. I love watching those guys attack the opposition. I watch in envy.

Another year of playoffs another year of the Saints out of the playoffs. So while watching the playoffs I find it difficult to pull for any of these teams because both of my teams are out.

Now I know some of you will take the holier than thou approach and say I only root for one team. But we all have a team we silently root for after the saints my team sad to say is even worse. I really love the Lions. Two reasons, one, I am from Michigan and the other is they remind me so much of the Saints. Obviously not now, but they are very similar. So I am really hoping they turn it around now that Millen is finally gone

Me and you are in the same boat, i'm from Ann Arbor, so i'ma die hard Lions fan....so i'm usually not rooted for my favorite team come playoff time cause there both usually at home watching....(Saints and Lions)

I pull for CP3 and the Hornets.

And the Zephyrs.
The only New Orleans team to win a championship. :hihi:

If there is anyone playing pro ball right now that deserves a superbowl ring, it would have to be McNabb... :plus-un2:
