Pass coverage lapses is the difference between 2-2 and 4-0 (3 Viewers)

That says everything we need to know about the defense. That scenario is common in the NFL. The offense scored 3 touchdowns today and won TOP by nearly 9 minutes. The defense needed to hold up for 60 seconds and had no plan to do so.
Offense gave up - 1 TD
Special teams gave up - 1TD
Defense gave up - 0 TD

I know let’s blame the one with a 0.

The offense and STs also spotted the Clowns 14 points.
The offense mismanaged the clock on the last drive.
Koo kicked a 58 yard FG on 4th and 10 to win the game.
Atlanta only gained 30 yards on that last drive.

And the defense did what it's been doing since the season began.

Yea let’s bench one of the highest rated pass defenders in the league for a rookie because of a subjective penalty call. Great idea.
Adebo is not as great as the numbers say he is.

Is he a good corner? Yes

Is he a great corner? No

Does he commit a whole bunch of very costly penalties? Yes, he had 3 of them just today

He’s objectively a very good corner who has matchup problems with speedy receivers as does the rest of our secondary and pretty much any corner in the NFL. PI is one of those things that get called seemingly at random. He plays on the edge of the boundary the rules. That last flag never gets thrown is he’s wearing chiefs colors and you can’t change my mind about that. It’s purely subjective when it’s not obvious and that one was definitely not an obvious PI. I barely remember the first 2 so I won’t comment on those.

The last one just doesn't get called most other teams. Junk calls for junk officials. Get tired of seeing officials decide games when they feel like it.

No, no matter how many times you post it.

The D held the Eagles to 15 points.
The D held the Clowns to 12 points, 9 of them from FGs from 50+ yards. The Clowns crossed the Saints' 20 once, and didn't score a TD.

The D has allowed 1 TD in 2 games, both games losses.

If you D holds opposing teams to 15 points and 12 points, respectively, in a dome setting to boot, and your team loses, the D is not the problem.

And like I told you on the gameday board, you are expecting the 2000 Ravens.
Exactly! 👆👆👆

This.

Atlanta watched the tape and realized they could attack him with Mooney. Good film work and execution by Atlanta, identifying and attacking a weakness. Clearly a point of emphasis in their game plan.

I wouldn’t say they decided the game because of our miscues with allowing TDs while the defense was off the field but I do think that call was piss poor.

Besides the Shaheed’s muffed return and the pick six, the three determining factors in this game were

1) our play calling in the red zone on that second to last drive.Their defense has been stuffing the run to the right all game and yet here we go running it to the right. Going for it on 4th and goal instead of taking the 3 points.

2) Not taking the field goal on the 2nd to last drive.

3) And I know we like to play CB’s to sides Lattimore should have been on London where ever he lined up.

I mean, that was actually a game changing call, no two ways about it. In spite of everything else, Atlanta could not win without it.

I hear you but it’s a call we can live with at any other point in the game. I was just trying to convey that if we don’t allow 14 off turnovers directly we win the game. Of course this is all subjective because if the game plays out differently it’s a different game entirely.

Non of that really matters and ya'll can clown emoji me all day. What matters and I'll bet everyone on our D will say the same thing. When you have the lead with under 2:00 ( in today's case 1:00) it's up to the D to close it out. PERIOD. No matter what the O did or didn't do.
It's like I said in a different post, If you block Mike Tyson's punches all day and get in some of your own except for that last time you dropped your hands and he knocked you out, you still get KNOCKED OUT
