We don't need to change rules to start winning.
How about we just start playing better instead?

I remember when the Rex Grossman lead Bears would do this to us every time we met. They would do it to other teams as well and i thought for sure there would be some changes made because it was becoming a problem. I don’t know how you change the rule without messing up the game except for being more strict on what is a catchable ball.We can keep the rule the same...I just want to see egregiously underthtown deep balls ruled uncatchable
There’s no doubt that the way pass interference is sometimes interpreted makes those huge penalties harder to deal with. I totally agree that the NFL needs to better define what is a legitimate defensive pass interference (or offensive pass interference). But I can assure you that if the penalty was the same as the college rule, the scenario we were in today would have been a perfect time for the defense to interfere to the degree necessary to stop any pass from being completed… because a 15 yard penalty would not have been nearly as bad as the 30+ yard penalty we actually got.I must vehemently disagree with you here my friend. I've hated the spot foul penalty for quite some time, and it has NOTHING to do with the Saints. It's more tied to my fanaticism for the integrity of the game. I have seen way too many very good, competitive, entertaining, hard-fought games decided by a ticky-tack PI call. I hate it whether the Saints are on the field or not, and I hate it whether the Saints are the beneficiary or not. The PI spot foul is obsolete and is no longer relevant for today's NFL where the strength, speed, and athleticism of the players are at levels never imagined.
Man I agree. I dont think I've been this pissed at a loss in a long time. They cannot call a little bump in this situation to decide a game. Atlanta gets a 10 second run off they throw the hail Mary and they call it. An absolute mockery of a call. I'm getting tired of the NFL. I'm not quite sure how much more of this I can take.I was watching the Fox post game show on TV a little bit ago. The crew was talking about how crazy some of these pass interference penalties can be. They can easily be a 30-50 yard penalty.
When teams are losing, they throw deep knowing if they don’t complete the pass they may well gain a penalty, and in many cases that will flip the game.
Jimmy Johnson in particular said it’s ridiculous and NFL should consider the college rule limiting the penalty to 15 yards.
Forget that it happened to the Saints today, but what’s your opinion on this type of rule change?
Did you saw the last two Chiefs games?Man I agree. I dont think I've been this pissed at a loss in a long time. They cannot call a little bump in this situation to decide a game. Yeah, I like this. Otherwise, if a team is trying to make a long game-winning drive, the defense can just PI and limit the offense to 15 yards per play.
What about Saheed's muff and going for it on fourth down instead of taking the points. Did those things contribute? Point is, one play never loses a gamePaulson Adebo has historically bit on double moves. He always peaks at the qb and uses his closing speed to make up he cost the game
