Iranian Pastor Faces Execution For Refusing To Recant Christian Faith | Fox News
I feel that it is wrong to kill someone just for being a Christian. As much as they irritate you, they still should not be killed. Beat them mercilessly if need be, but it is wrong to kill them. Hold their head under water until just before the bubbles stop, but don't kill them.
Man , you're going soft . I'm gonna sign you up for some missionary outreach visits so you can get your head right .
I was thinking of doing a missionary trip to Visions this Sunday for the game. Those girls are really messed up and I feel like they need a positive role model like me. I think that if I can show these girls that they can be happy dancing for just me and drinking beer and smoking pot, it would keep them from dancing for a whole bunch of dudes and smoking crack. That's an improvement by anyone's standards. So, please pray for me and my missionary team as we step out in faith.
It's probably best to not use one Fundamentalist regime that uses a religion to establish a dictatorship in Iran with the Muslim Faith as a whole. I mean, that would be like saying that the KKK or the Spanish Inquisition represent all Christians.

I would say 99.9% of all Christians, even very hard core right-wing half crazy Christians like Jerry Fallwell would not aspire to the kkk belief system. I don't think you can say that for Moslems. There are probably 20-30% world wide with very extremists beliefs including leaders of nations.
dont be silly, no one suspects the Spanish Inquisition.
did you know that pronouncing it "Moslem" changes the definition from "one who gives himself to God" to "one who is evil and unjust"?

As a Muslim let me tell you all that in Islam it is forbidden to forcefully convert anyone...as a matter of fact the Qur'an states conversion comes from God and no one else so no one can force anyone to convert. A story that goes perfectly with this is the story of the Prophet Muhammad himself when he was preaching the religion. When his uncle who protected him from the other clans was on his deathbed, Muhammad (pbuh) asked him repeatedly to convert. The following verses were then revealed:
"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things."
2:256
(Not upon you is their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills.) (2:272)
This is essentially means that his job is to preach and that is it. His job is not to spread the religion.
I mean not to offend anyone, but to to illustrate that Islam is not about force at all and please do not let these extreme fundamentalists give you a bad image of Islam. I hope this has cleared up some misinformation regarding this whole "forceful conversion" issue. What they are doing is wrong to that man.
In Islams early days when the Muslims were being persecuted, Muhammad (pbuh) specifically sent his followers to Abyssinia (modern day Ethiopia) because the king of Abyssinia was a Christian. The Muslims were protected. All Muslims must believe in the old and new testament and Christians and Jews have the tell of "People of the Book" in Islam.
