I think coaches need new challenges sometimes. They end up in situations where the years blend together with incremental changes. A fresh start requires a look at the entire roster and new ideas. Not that I want him here, but get why they would want someone with fresh eyes leading the team.

Honestly feel if he wanted to keep coaching he should make a move to college. Playing for the GOAT would take care of recruiting all on it's own, and BB has to have the widest net of failed NFL assistants that would follow him in a heartbeat to college. Judging by some of those contract these schools would be falling over themselves to get him on campus, even for just a 2-3 year deal. Elite defenses and ball control offenses win Nattys in college and that's Bill's prefered brand of football.
