Only for playoff teams if I remember correctly. You have to interview 2 minority candidates in person. I thought that in person interviews could not occur yet.

Have they interviewed a minority candidate?
EDIT: Never mind. Yep, the ever-interview-ready Pep Hamilton and Byron Leftwich interviewed.
The most sham Rooney Rule interviews of all-time. Patriots didn’t even try to hide it or waste anyone of importance’s time. They tried to waste Aaron Glenn’s time, but he wasn’t having it. lol
Who cares about a rule if you know who you’re going to hire. I think it’s a lot more degrading to know you’re the token interview just because the league says you have too.The most sham Rooney Rule interviews of all-time. It was done before they fired Mayo. It was probably done before they even hired Mayo, they only went with Mayo because he had language in his contract that he was to be the coaching successor to Bill.It feels like this was really done as soon as they fired Mayo.
That's what I was thinking too. Maybe gives them a chance to interview for a different position on the staff but the Rooney Rule just feels dated at this point.Who cares about a rule if you know who you’re going to hire. I mean, the Saints interviews before we hired DA was just as bad.The most sham Rooney Rule interviews of all-time. Patriots didn’t even try to hide it or waste anyone of importance’s time. They tried to waste Aaron Glenn’s time, but he wasn’t having it. lol
Vrabel has a losing history? That's a pretty ignorant statement. They replaced Jerod Mayo for a someone that has a losing histroy as a head coach?
