Payton screwed up. Should've gotten a Lawyer. (1 Viewer)

Wow, you're a real piece of work. You feel bad for a guy that turned a blind eye to the abhorrent bounty system going on in his locker room, but you vilify the guy that held him accountable.

Non saints fans should be banned.

touche'

you show up here, spouting off about how your Packers quit their pay for performance program so they are the benchmark.

You have bought the league explanation hook, line and sinker. I suggest you take your views back to the Packer forum, and circle-jerk with them over the excitement that the Saints may not be as formidable this year in your attempts to reach the SB.

Abhorrent...lmao. Wouldnt surprise me one bit if you said you worked for the league office. It sure would make sense.

You believe too much of what you are spoon-fed. sheep...

Do you forget that your precious team ran the same kind of program?

So, "$500 if you hold Adrian Petersen to below 100 yards rushing", and "$1,500 if you knock Brett Favre out of the game with an injury" are the same thing?

This is analogous to getting caught stealing a car, and saying "but but but...two years ago, my younger brother Tommy stole a stick of gum. He needs to be punished, too"

Prove that he read it before that day.

again, you can't. You actually can't prove anything which is why payton should've just kept his mouth shut.

You're right. I'm sure Sean Payton never read that email. And I'm sure he magically filtered his email to preclude any messages that mentioned things like "bounties", "hurting players for cash", etc....even though he had no knowledge this was going on in the locker room.

And so are you. No one is complaining that he got punished, it's the severity. Suspended for a year, and basically fined 7 million dollars. That on top of our other penalties, and, our players who are going to be suspended make the punishment completely over the top and ridiculous. Get some perspective. This isn't ballet, IT'S FOOTBALL.

You would have more converts if you come back with video of us targeting knees or repeatedly playing dirty.

The pack can "hold peterson to less than 100" with legal hits but we can't knock out farve with legal hits?

If your problem is with good solid legal hits then you should take that up with goodell and maybe, just maybe, NFL football is not for either of you.

Where did I say they are the benchmark? The fact is that all but one NFL team apparently followed the league's instructions, because the Saints personnel were the only ones suspended.

And it appears that you have bought into the "the NFL is purposely screwing the Saints" mentality that is running rampant on this board. There are a few people saying "we did something dumb, and are being punished"...accepting the mistakes made, and moving on". The majority are adopting this persecution complex.

Baaaa. That's what you sound like.

My fellow Saints fans, y'all are getting hooked.

:trolls:
