And others could say that the over reliance of the "4th QTR/OT comebacks" argument shows the same thing. Apparently, those in Raider Nation have been complaining about the RZ for YEARS and this actually coincided with them being bottom 10 in scoring in multiple seasons and Carr's TD rate also finding itself there. And as I said earlier, the weapons argument don't fly, considering we probably had one of, if not, the worst group with an injured O-line in 2021 and for the first half of the season, we were the best in the league in the RZ. RZ is on the coaching AND the QB. That's why I always say, all that "cliché" BS that Underhill and Ross talks about when reporting on Carr ("read defense," "call protection," "multiple plays," "change plays at the line," etc) don't mean crap if you can't get the ball into the endzone. Then it becomes (everyone else's fault).Y'all trying to beat up on him for red zone efficiency and comparing him to Dalton shows you haven't really watched him play much.
But at the end of the day, if you don't think Carr's red zone issues are worrisome, you are dismissing a very important element. I hope he can turn it around but if he shows that he hasn't and can't, they need to make the red zone, "The Taysom Zone."
