Agree with you about Stafford but I loathe the Rams too much to pull for them. We can’t beat them, and the one time we did, we got jobbed. So, to heck with them.I had decided that if we can't win it all this year that I would bite my lip and hope for Stafford to finally get a championship. I've always been a fan of Stafford. Not only is he super talented but he's tough as nails and I think is a team guy all, the way. He's Hall of Fame good and had to waste his career in Detroit.
It's impossible for me to pull for the Rams though, and now it's even worse. OBJ is one of my least favorite people in the League. Sorry Matt.
I've lived and worked all over CA, including the LA region until recently. Company's home office is on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. One of the saddest places one could possibly be for the last couple of years. Couldn't take it anymore and moved to Utah...much better. From Lake Charles and all of my family and friends still live there. I'm still very connected to and fond of the area. Do you know what happened there over the past 13 months?
You don't know anything about me, so please stop pretending you do.
Doesn't seem like you know that much about Los Angeles either based on your guess that I live in Burbank. You do know that there are also studios in Century City, Culver City, Hollywood, Glendale West LA and a few other areas?
Where you from and where you at?
The whole country.I think the same about the entire gulf coast of Louisiana.
I got out in 2004. I could see where things were heading.I've lived and worked all over CA, including the LA region until recently. Company's home office is on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. I get your point but I’m very happy with my little neck of the woods. After growing up in Vegas and then working in Houston most of my career, the beauty and quiet and rolling hills of Tennessee have been quite therapeutic. The whole country.
I think It just depends on a lot of factors, career choice, family, kids, faith, stage in life, etc. There's a place for everybody, whether you love the big city, the kid friendly suburbs, or the quiet anonymity of living in the country. Everywhere has its tradeoffs, even California, lol.I get your point but I’m very happy with my little neck of the woods. Oh I agree, was just commenting more on the state of affairs in our country right now, all the hatred, unrest etc. Makes me enjoy my private place even more. And aesthetically too, I’m big on beauty and it’s beautiful here, to me.I think It just depends on a lot of factors, career choice, family, kids, faith, stage in life, etc. There's a place for everybody, whether you love the big city, the kid friendly suburbs, or the quiet anonymity of living in the country. Snideness free, if the point of the photo is a guy under a lot of stress, then message received and I hope you are all recovering well from the destruction of the past year.
That is true. Severe weather everywhere with COVID as the rancid cherry on top.The whole country.
Great post. I loved my time out there. Never lived anywhere near LA but San Clemente is one of my favorite places. Lived there and around south OC most of the first ten years was out there. That is true. Severe weather everywhere with COVID as the rancid cherry on top.
I've been here in Los Angeles since 1996. No place is for everyone and no place is perfect, but on balance I really like Los Angeles and this is where I need to be career wise.
I'm no fan of the Rams, going all the way back to the old NFC West, so I get the animosity towards the Rams.
The animosity toward Los Angeles always judges the people living here too. There's a lot of places that I wouldn't want to live, but I don't insult or have a low opinion of the people that choose to live there. You didn't come across that way, but most of the other people that dump on Los Angeles also dump on the people that live here. It's disrespectful, and quite frankly it's short-sighted bigotry.
The coastal communities between Orange County and San Diego are nice. I've lived in different places in the San Fernando Valley since I moved here. What's funny is the rest of LA looks down on the valley. I've managed to avoid rush hour traffic for the most part. The cost of living is a potential looming issue for though, so I get it.Great post. The cost of housing and the godawful traffic finally got to be too much. Well that and missing New Orleans.
