PFT: firm belief OBJ (was) signing with Saints (1 Viewer)

Fwiw, I've edited the thread title because OBJ hasn't officially signed with the Rams yet and is still considering both the Rams and Packers. So until the ink is dry, I wouldn't put too much stock in these news reports.

Well, maybe now we can lure Cooper Kupp to come to New Orleans. After all, his grandpa played here! :hihi:

Him joining the Rams kind of reminds me of the NBA when a bunch of veterans would join the Lakers in hops of a championship. For him it probably gives him his best chance at a superbowl. But I'm just guessing

The 2000 Redskins and, I believe the 2010 Eagles (might be misremembering the year) also tried this and it didn’t work.

However the Bucs succeeded at this last season. Of course, they had Brady. The Rams have a talented QB that has won fewer postseason games than Case Keenum.

Yeap. He didn’t want to work hard and prove himself. He was mad at the Browns for not getting over the hump and wanted to be carried to the playoffs.

Big difference is Stafford is a way better QB than Johnson, i think that was WASH QB in 2000 and Vick.

Turns out we should’ve taken Ochocinco up on that offer. Or Onome Ojo. And if they aren’t available, nothing makes things feel more normal than a good Andy Tanner sign and cut and a Walter Thomas backflip for old times sake.
