He did not flat out say no. I think there was something to that.
So 'out of the realm of possiblity' doesn't do it for you?

F: 18,000 documents sounds like a lot of evidence. Have you seen then and do you believe that number?
G: I don't think there is anything that proves bounty. Only information I have seen is through the media, nothing from the comissioner.
F: any explanation from the NFL why?
G: No.

I think the main point is that that seems to be first time that Ginsberg didn't straight up answer a question, for whatever reason. It caught my attention as well. Actually, I'm surprised this is first time Ginsberg has answered a question in a deflective manner. I'm amazed that he's been answering so definitively.
As for Rugger's "I think there's something there" well, I hope not.
And, I have to say Florio asked excellent questions.
He wasn't as small as he needed to be? Are you making short jokes at Widge again?
Florio.
Also, Kluwe just said that He and Ryan Longwell thought there was something "off" about the way the Saints were going after Favre. I mean, the 2 biggest non football players on the field thought something was "off."
It's the damn NFC Championship game to go to the Super Bowl. Maybe if your team would've played better and had our intensity..............
The main point is that Ginsberg and Vilma have the leverage. Ginsberg is doing exactly what the NFL did....playing this out thru the media for the General Public. ( funny since he declined comment as to their "strategy" on PK and Ryans show yesterday- but its pretty obvious now )
Ginsberg has been on 3 shows in 3 days. Im sure more to come. This is all calculated. Its the proverbial "call" on Goodell. If Goodell keeps quiet, they will continue the sports radio/media circuit.
And again, i recommend the PK/Ryan interview in which at minute 9:15 Pk asks :
PK: the issue about the $10,000 bouny, if u can talk about it...was there, wasnt there..?
Ginsberg: Absolutely, unequivocally not.
go listen. starts at 9:15.
so much for the " not answering straight up" idea...
this is what the NFL has on its side? A punter? dude you are a freakin punter!
That is not want Florio asked. He did not ask if Vimla put up a 10000 bounty. He asked if he presented the money, even as a motivator or in jest, in the locker room. That is much different than offering a bounty, which implies the intent to hurt another player for money. IMO they are two separate things. I do not think it is a big deal as a fan, but I am not sure how that would hold up in the appeals process if Vimla indeed used it as a motivator or flashed the money before the game.
You do realize that no one is attacking Vilma here right? Just thought it was a change from Ginsbergs normal way of answering. From what I understand Vilma never denied flashing the money in the lockerroom, but he did deny attempting to give it to someone and that it was his money offered.
I think it was around the 3rd time that Peterson fumbled, and that we didn't recover, that made me literally put a hole in the wall with my fist.
